Is this adapter needed if computer has native bluetooth capability?

Thanks a lot for reaching out and let me know your concern.

The BLE 5.0 sensor cannot pair with the PC's Bluetooth directly. Even pairing succeeds, there will be no serial data to send because it requires the UART output. 
That's why we set the package and recommend the BLE 5.0 Bluetooth adapter to connect with the PC.

Question 2

Where is the documentation in English for this product?  And, it doesn't seem to work.  I have sent numerous emails with generic responses.

Is plug and play? On what OS you try to use it? 
On w10 you just plug it in and connect the device like with any other BT device

Can the use and integration instructions be provided in english?  the baidu wiki only contains chinese documentation and sample application.
