Aquila Super Nylgut AQ-106 Tenor Ukulele Strings - High G - 1 Set of 4

My favorite Tenor Uke strings, they sound great and last longer than any other string I've tried. Highly recommended!

i have been a fluorocarbon string user for years and decided to give the Aquila's a try on a ukulele that I wasn't pleased with the sound quality. The Aquila's sound great and stretch in fast and hold tune remarkably well.

These sound great on my intermediate level ukulele. I admit I have not really compared to many other strings, I’m sure there’s lots of good options out there. But these are great. Buy with confidence.

Realistically, there is no best ukulele string for everyone. I love these strings on my laminate mid-range ukulele. The girlfriend thinks they are too harsh for her solid-acacia ukulele and she replaced her strings with flouro-carbons. If you read the ukulele nerd forums, you will see long discussions about ukulele strings and different people disagreeing about which strings are best even for the same brand and model of instrument. Bottom line is the best strings for you are a personal decision, based largely on what sound you like and what kind of music you play and what is your skill level. Strings are cheap enough and easy enough to install that, as soon as you develop a good enough ear to tell the difference, you may as well try a few on your ukulele and figure it out for yourself. As with all ukulele strings, they do take a while to settle in. I had to tune them after every 15 minutes of playing for the first couple of days. Every 30 minutes for the next few days. Once an hour for the next week. After a month, I only have to tune them a couple of times a week (or when the room is much cooler or warmer).

so lucky to find a string set that matches my instrument specs. my old set was aquila too, unknown details as the high G snapped after 17 years. the new set seems higher in tension which produced clearer tones, better attack. for now it seems to hold the tuning quite well. i will order another set as a spare, even if i probably won't need it for another 17 years.

Great sound, tone, and short "break-in" (stretch) period.

These sound awesome and feel even better. Once you stretch the crap out of them but that’s just nylon strings in general. They have a nice warmth and snap to them. It’s all preference, but these are my new favorites.

This is my first time using the Super Nylagut strings, but they make my tenor uke sound great. Highly recommended.

I like the Super Nylgut's on my Tenors but, prefer the New Nylgut on my Soprano's and Concert's. There is no perfect ukulele strings, so you have to pick whatever works best for you. As always, Aquila quality is above par, they know ukulele strings better than anyone. I would like to see the price come down a bit.

Por el empaque pensé que las cuerdas serían negras, pero son blancas. Aún así se ven y se sienten bien, aunque ha decir verdad prefiero las red series, son más delgadas y me da la impresión de un mejor sonido.
