12 Inch Boat Running Lights / Navigation Lights You are purchasing 1 Red & 1 Green Water resistant LED Light Strip features low energy usage uses only 0.007 amps per led, each led gives off 4 lumens. Has 3M Tape on the back. Strips come with positive and negative wires on one end. USA Seller Water Proof Black PCB (background) 12 Volts Rated for 50,000 hours Can be cut every 3 LED's Tracking number will be provided These LED strips come with 3M Tape on the back so you can apply to any surface. Not Necessary but you may want to silicone along edges for extra security. Strip is Water Proof but not rated for submersible FOR WATERPROOF STRIPS Waterproof Strips are silicone filled to protect the LED's from water all along the top and sides of the strip. To fully protect the strip long term you will need to run a bead of silicone along both sides of the strip and all around any connection, plug and both ends of the strip. If you do not do this there is risk of the LED's shorting out. Being a 12 V light there is no safety issue. This suggestion is simply to protect your LED's long term.
