Action Replay Powersaves Cheat Device for 3ds Games

Ordered one and the device wouldn’t download the codes. Processed a return for the same item. Came the next day and works wonderfully! 10/10 thank you!

I had previously purchased the Powersaves Pro (Black Version) and it did not work out of the box, the included code did not work, neither did the one I paid $12 dollars for from Datel's Codejunkies website. 3 days after I had purchased the Black Version it still did not work nor did the company respond to my emails. This Yellow Version, however, worked right out of the box. The included code, the USB cable, and the dock in which I insert my game carts all work perfectly. The software installed smoothly and the connection to the Powersaves servers works without a hitch. I was even using this Yellow Version, Action Replay Powersaves for 3DS before I had even gotten the packaging off my lap, it was that fast and that easy. I had no issue connecting the USB dock, or the included cable, or inserting my cartridges or using the service. I live in the USA and was worried that I would receive one for the EU but when it arrived it looked identical to one I had seen in a Youtube video in which the unboxer simply plugged it in and it worked; yellow packaging, and a blue "Datel" logo in the top left corner. The included key code was marked US and it validated with no issue. The required software from the Powersaves website has a minimal hard drive footprint and was easy to download and install. The software recognizes when I insert and remove my game cartridges instantly and the connection to the Powersaves server has been very quick and easy. Using this Yellow Version has saved me so much time. I can search through a list of cheats for my selected game and apply them instantly enabling me to get back to playing the game and having fun. Games should be fun, and when I have to grind through 100's of hours trying to collect materials that drop at random percentage rates in order to craft the pieces to make the parts necessary to create the items I actually need to kill the cat that ate the rat that lived in the house that I built, the game stops being fun and instead turns into payless, thankless work. With this (Yellow Packaging) Action Replay Powersaves for 3DS I can instantly skip all those 100's of hours spent not having fun and instead get right down to actually playing my games. A week after ordering the Black Version Powersaves Pro it still does not work, but only 3 days after ordering this Yellow Action Replay Powersaves for 3DS I have not gotten a lot of sleep because it is that much fun! This is the way products should be, fast, simple, easy to setup and install, and everything works right out of the box!

You should know, that from what I understand, that the way this thing works is that when you apply a cheat to the cartridge from the computer, it uploads a save file to Datel's server, decrypts it there, and retrieves the save file again. Also, there's no CD included with the device, unlike Action Replay (the software is downloadable online at Datel's website. My point being, you need an internet connection to use this device because it's completely reliant on Datel's servers. It's been working fantastically so far, and now that they added codes for X and Y I'm not sure what else we really need! Oh, and also, inside of the box is an instruction manual printed on a sheet of paper. DO NOT THROW THIS OUT. Whenever you go to download the software from the link I gave you above, it will ask for a license key available in the bottom corner of the second page of the instructions on a sticker that says, "3DS Powersaves License Key". You cannot use the software without this license! I assume this is because they don't want server resources to go to people just playing around with the software rather than people who actually possess the device. With all that in mind, get this device with high expectations! You won't be able to walk through walls, etc. because it's a save editor and doesn't edit real-time, but all those other cheats were kind of gimmicky anyway and this is plenty enough for me.

The way this device works is very different from other Action Replay devices. First you'll notice that this device doesn't connect directly to your 3DS, it connects to your computer and this device is only an adapter so your computer can recognize the 3DS cartridge. Second thing you'll notice is that you need to download and install the official software, this software will require you to insert the license number located in a sheet of paper inside the package. Once you are done with this you are almost ready to use the PowerSaves. IF YOUR COMPUTER IS OFFLINE THEN THIS DEVICE WILL NOT WORK, the software connects directly to a server that provides the codes. You can't even use the Backup and Restore functions if your computer is offline. Some people complain about the cloud service, but the device you are buying only lets you backup and restore your save files, to be able to apply codes to your game the save file needs to be unencrypted and encrypted again, this is where the Datel servers come in and do all that work. Also, as a VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: GET ANOTHER USB CABLE. The USB cable provided with the device is a very generic and cheap cable that has connection issues, you'll see that your device keeps connecting and disconnecting from your computer. Just get another USB/mini-USB cable, I use the one that came with my PS3 controller and I don't notice all those disconnects anymore. Keep in mind that this is not only a "cheating" device, you can also backup your saves and restore them freely. If you want to play through Pokemon XY again but now just using certain pokemon or doing a "Nuzlocke" run then this device is perfect, since it will let you restore your old save file once you are done playing the new run. Got a relative that wants to play Bravely Default but your save file already cotains the massive spoilered title? Backup your save and then delete it. Want to lend your game to a friend but you are afraid he might mess your saves? Backup your save! In this day and age we still have to deal with limited save files, but this will no longer be a problem if you get the PowerSaves.

Funziona con pokemon usum?! 2. Devo prendere la versione pro o basta la versione base?! Bene, con questa recensione risponderò a chi come me si è posto le stesse domande. Il power saves fondamentalmente è un pezzo di plastica, un pezzo di plastica che permette di estrarre e reinserire un salvataggio nella schedina di gioco. Il programma scaricabile dal sito invece è un programma in continuo aggiornamento dove periodicamente vengono aggiunti nuovi trucchi e nuovi giochi compatibili, quindi pokemon ultrasole e ultraluna vengono tranquillamente riconosciuti e supportati dal programma! (Come scritto nel sito ufficiale, quando si procede al download del software) •Pokemon• I codici sono in inglese ma sono facilmente identifiabili da tutti. Tra i vari codici possiamo trovare quelli per modificare la propria borsa: aggiungendo strumenti, soldi, bacche, punti lotta ecc... Quelli per modificare il personaggio: aggiungendo i vestiri, gli stili di lancio pokeball e addirittura cambiarlo da maschio a femmina. E infine, i trucchi per i pokemon: modifica iv, ev, shiny, clonazione, mosse, pokeball di cattura ecc... L’unica pecca è che non possono essere modificati i soprannomi e il nome allenatore del pokemon e che non si possono avere pokemon che non si hanno ma per apportare modifiche bisogna partire da una specie già esistende di quel pokemon. Rimane comunque uno strumento fantastico che permette di fare un sacco di cose per veramente pochi euro, consiglio comunque di non abusarne altrimenti si perde un po la voglia nel giocare. Awesome, it has helped heaps with 3ds pokemon game.

The product works great, it arrived on time and some hours earlier than expected. For those that say that it doesn't work bear in mind that this is region locked, make sure you're buying the right product, this one is for the EU, the pro version is for the US. I recommend this purchase although people should be aware that for now it still has a rather small list of games compatible with it, but the good thing is that is constantly updated with new material. Also for those people having errors make sure you put your serial code without any dashes ( - ), I had that problem and I figured it out. I also recommend not using the cable provided with it as it is a very generic cable and it can be very defective, I doubt it will damage the device but it is very annoying, I suggest using a PS3 controller cable or buying a new one at a local store.
