This was the perfect replacement. The value is good. The break away feature CAN save your Haimer. Be sure to check the ball size you need. There are 2 sizes!!

Priced competitively when Amazon delivers on time
When I bought my tormach, I shelled out for a haimer 3d taster and it's been one of the best decisions. I've needed to use this thing so many times to get as accurate of a setup as I possibly could while machining parts for a CNC router build I'm doing amongst tons of other times I've used it. Unfortunately I have finally smashed a tip while removing it from my collet. These are priced decently and get to you quickly provided Amazon does their part. Which I'll admit, they've been slacking on really bad lately, however I got this tip fast in this instance.

A necessary piece of an awesome indicator.
The Haimer 3D taster is a very great indicator and I do not regret the money spent on it. Also it was a great idea for the Haimer engineers to make a breakable tip so the unit itself does not break in one of those "unfortunate situations". I just wish they were not so expensive. Almost $50.00 per. I have bought 2 or 3 already. like I said I am glad to pay the cash but they would get 5 stars if they didn't cost so much.

Hope having a few extra doesn't make me less vigilant
Perfect replacement for my Metric Haimer. Tips come in sturdy protective cases and include manuals for how to install and re-calibrate. You MUST recalibrate. I bought 3 because of the great price on these tips.

Haimer quality. Make SURE you want the 4mm tip. If you have an inch model Haimer, you probably do not want this model probe. I know a guy that ordered the metric probe for his inch taster and scratched his head for an hour about why things weren't going well.

It is what it says it is. And Haimers are great. Price seems to vary wildly though. At $50CAD it's reasonable but sometimes it's nearly double that price.

Great price for Probe Tip. I manage to break one a year and now I can buy them at a reasonable price on Amazon.
