Sounds great
I wasn't happy with my 2 Boston acoustics G12 subs so I tried this single 15 sub. I like the sound quality of this 15 better than the G12s, and It does hit with more authority. So i like it better for SPL and SQ. I'm running a 900 watt alpine mono amp just for this one sub BTW.

SQL Driver
Never cared for Rockford subs until I owned this one. This is a great SQL driver, I have never heard kick drums sound so good with so much impact and tight. It will play low with ease as most 15's will do but it handles fast beats pretty well for a 15 I have it in a 3.10net custom enclosure with a 6" PSP port tuned to 33hz I designed and built on a Rockford P1000X1D and I am pretty sure it can take more power if its clean. Never have I smelt coil. Sure there are better drivers and louder drivers but if you are going to play actual music this on is a go to

I am an installer i can have any subs i want,this is what i have in my own car.I have ran almost everything out there and this is one of the best subs i have every owned.The design keeps the voice coil cool even under hard use i love the double spider everything is super durable. I have put these in sealed and ported boxes and they have never failed to impress.As well as very high output and high power handling it's a very good sounding sub.I am running sealed in my own car and believe it or not i can even play rock music and it will punch like a much smaller sub,on the low it really comes alive.I am putting 1900watts rms on a pair and it's a great match,this same amp has blown mojo,mojo x and a few other 15s,i was not abusing them they could just not hold up to prolonged high levels like these T1s can.If you are investing in a high powered audio set up for you car this is the sub you want.It does everything right and nothing wrong.We have never had one blow or fail for any reason even with our abusive customers,they love them as much as i do.
