Strong Girl Isolate Decadent Chocolate, 2 Pound

Every review that says it tastes horrible is spot on. (the vanilla is better than the chocolate though) Why the 5 star review then you may ask? Well, the review isn't because it's a super yummy shake, if I wanted that, I'd go buy a McFlurry. My 5 star review is because it works. It works better than any other protein shake I have ever tried. If you want to lose fat, gain muscle, and at the same time get probiotics to maintain a happy tummy; this is definitely the way to go.

This protein powder was recommended to me by someone who said it tasted great. I purchased it without a second thought and wish I hadn't. It is sponsored by Race Car driver Danica Patrick but I wonder if she ever actually tried it. It is the worst tasting protein powder I have ever had. I add unsweetened coconut milk, spinach, berries, and flax seed to my smoothies and I couldn't even finish this. I even tried it the next day thinking I was being crazy but nope. Couldn't do it. Had to return for a refund and then I paid $17 after tax for standard non rush shipping and the powder only cost $32. Total rip off. Do not buy this you will regret it. Unless you like making a mister yuk face after every swig. I really hope that for the sake of strong girls future they taste the product and re-formulate something better tasting. I wanted to like this and would buy again based on the nutrition facts if it were re formulated to taste better.

Taste great but is soy protein which makes me not want to drink too often.

Any protein powder you buy isn't going to taste amazing but this isn't that bad compared to some and the ingredients in it are good and made specifically for women. I've only tried the chocolate and I mix it with unsweetened almond milk which I recommend over water(way too gritty) and it isn't too bad.

I ran out of the Missfit protein powder that I had been using (and loved), so I bought this for some stupid reason. Unlike most others who have reviewed this item, I actually quite like the taste, but the consistency (not the texture) is awful. I have a very hard time mixing this power with anything, even in my Ninja blender. It's always clumpy and to dilute it, you need to add at least twice the amount of water/milk than with other protein powders. Also, I don't know if this is a coincidence, but I am using this powder as part of a meal plan to lose weight. The first week, I was using the Missfit and was losing weight. The second week after I ran out and switched over to Stronggirl, I have gained weight :( I'm hoping to return this and purchase the Missfit protein powder-- that stuff is amazing. Light, creamy, yummy and tastes like whipped cream in a smoothie.

good first starting protein... i heard the first ingredient in protein shakes should be whey protein... this is soy protein.. and then whey protein. must have a blender and milk. not good with just water. definetely helps but listen to the guys at gnc they know whats up. wasted my money.. dont waste your time with this product like I did. bad gas... cheap isolate.. upset stomach during the gym. a big no no..

This was terrible. I have had many shakes in the taste of this was unbearable. I tried it a couple times, just to see if I could get use to it, and I couldn't.
