No fussing fog-free.
I write few reviews but had to comment on this. I shave in the shower (like the picture - but Im better looking). Anyway, Ive tried several mirrors over the years, most that just tell you to put a little shave cream or soap on the mirror and give it a splash of water from the shower to keep it from fogging. They work ok. And its only a minor nuisance to do that. Then there are some that run a branch water tube from the shower head into the mirror to keep it at the same temp as the shower so there is no condensation. Clever, but who wants that. This mirror stands alone from what ive seen. The optics are good, mirror is nice and clean. No fussing, no gimmicks, it just doesnt fog over. Attaching it to the wall is easy too. Clever suction method is great, easy to remove, no residue or anything. Twist on, twist off. The razor holder is very convenient, and the swivel action is easy and allows me to push the bottom edge into the wall to be more out of the way.

Great Product and Great Customer Service!
I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The product is well designed and simple to install. I tried other “fog free” mirrors but this one is my favorite by far. When the company says “fog free” they mean it. Also, the locking suction cup technology is sturdy which gives you the confidence to use the 360 degree rotation capability without concern of the mirror coming detached from the wall. I also chose the 3X magnification model which is a great option for those, like myself, who have impaired vision. And lastly, I would be remiss if I didn’t share my initial experience with the product. My original purchase was disappointing. The mirror was quick to fog but it was usable so long as I kept a cup of water handy for an occasional rinse. Since it was a shower mirror, I wasn’t about to lose any sleep over the quick fogging. However, shortly after my purchase I received an email from the company asking if I was pleased with the product. Reluctantly I took the time to respond and weigh in with my opinion on how quickly the mirror fogged and that I felt it was defective. Curious to see how the company would respond, I did not ask for a refund or a replacement. To my surprise, I received a same day email response from Joel B., the company’s Customer Service Manager. Joel was extremely apologetic and immediately sent out a replacement mirror – which, by the way, works fantastic! Now that’s customer service. For that, both the product and customer service receive 5 stars.

Good mirror once you get it secured
I use this to shave in the shower. My first attempts to get it to stick were not successful. I peeled off the plastic cover on the suction surface and cleaned the shower wall with rubbing alcohol. Then I pressed it to the wall and rotated the collar until it clicked. It fell off within the hour. The next two tries were no more effective. But here's what worked for me: 1) Start out with the suction disk flat. 2) Make sure the wall is clean. 3) Wipe the wall down with rubbing alcohol for good measure. 4) Get into the shower so you can look directly into the mirror for proper placement. 5) Pour a little alcohol onto the disk and immediately press it into place. It is important that the suction disk should be flat and wet. You cannot create a suction if you start out with a concave disk. If the wall is also wet, so much the better. 6) Rotate the locking collar clockwise until it clicks. I will come back and update if that doesn't hold for the long haul but so far so good. UPDATE (1/11/2021): I was a little too quick to speak initially. The mirror won't stay stuck on the shower wall indefinitely. That is not to say it's a bad mirror. I found that about every four days or so, I'd hear a crash in the bathtub. That was the mirror letting go of the acrylic wall. The mirror seemed to not suffer any damage when it did it but it was annoying. We have come to an accommodation: about every third day, I release the clamp and rewet the suction cup with either water or rubbing alcohol, then reapply it to the shower wall. It no longer falls off the wall. Still, I don't feel I would have to do that if the clamping system were better. I have safety bars attached to my shower walls that are also attached via suction cups, and they stay in place for months before they fall off. So I find myself reducing my rating from five stars to four.

Mine Lasted 3 Years
Although I would have liked it to have lasted longer, 3 years seems like a decent amount of time for this to last. The suction cup on this mirror is excellent. Don't buy a cheaper one with a plain suction cup. This locks into place and holds the seal very, very well. Over the past three years, mine fell off three times. The first time, the frame got a little ding. The second time, there was no damage. The third time, it actually didn't lose the seal, but the suction cup disconnected from the holder. Two of the times, the razor that was hanging on it busted. The hanger for a razor is very handy. I don't really have anywhere convenient to set a razor in the shower, so this worked perfectly. The mirror was very "fog-proof" the first year or two, but the past year or two it has fogged up. Trying to rinse it with water doesn't help. What seems to help (only temporarily) is putting a little shampoo on it and letting water partially rinse it off. Then, it's fog-proof long enough to shave. With the suction cup disconnecting, it was finally time to replace it. Before I purchased another one, I checked competing products. Several had cheaper suction cups or no razor hanger. No thanks. A few looked identical or almost identical. One was about $5 cheaper so I went with that one. I'll probably replace it more often -- once it starts fogging up. (Unless I can find a way to restore the anti-fog surface.) I'm also going to make sure the suction cup is securely locked down at least once a month.

Not fogless but quite workable if you poor water on it once it fogs in the shower
This is my second purchase (3rd if you count a return I did on first purchase). The mirror is attractive and quite sturdy. The suction cup on my first purchase wasn't staying up more than a day. I call CS and they suggested wiping the tile with alcohol before reapplying the suction cup. While I had done it on first install, I hadn't on the 2 or 3 times it fell. It then stayed up for 10 days. I called CS again and they offered to send me a replacement. The replacement was installed once and didn't fall for nearly 3 years. When it fell, it was because the suction cup had disintegrated and was no longer usable. This was my replacement purchase and it has worked well without falling for over a month and with daily use. Now to the fog part. The mirror is supposed to be fog free in the shower. I tend to take showers on the cooler side, so when CS commented that I might be taking too hot of a shower for the mirror to function correctly, I knew it was not quite fogless in the shower. They suggested pouring water on the mirror to bring it closer to the temperature in the shower and it has always worked that way. Do not clean mirror with any cleaner as it would impact the fogless coating to where it won't work at all. I also towel dry the mirror after the shower to keep it from spotting since I have to pour water on it each use. I would recommend this mirror as I've tried several others and this one seems to work the best (plus Customer Service truly handled my concerns with grace and expediently).

Skeptic turned supporter
**I am not a paid reviewer** So I always read the lower-starred reviews first and the lower reviews made me just want to polish a nice rock and settle for that. SUCTION: After purchasing, I read all the directions and instructions before doing anything. I then mounted it on a dry shower wall (the cheap plastic kind) and it fell down over night. The next day I used a cotton ball and Dollar Tree rubbing alcohol/witch hazel and applied it to the mounting area and it has been up for 3 weeks since. To test it and ensure it wasn't a fluke, I took it off the shower wall in the middle of showering and reattached it and it is still hanging. CLARITY: It has remained unbelievably clear and fogless, even after getting wet. No issues after 3 weeks of use. SPACE: This is the only minute issue I have. It does stick out from the wall a bit. I have it mounted right where I stand while showering (so I just have to turn sideways to shave) so it might not be an issue for those who mount it "out of the way". Even with a curved shower bar it " cramped" me a little. To solve this issue, I turned the mirror all the way to either side and that solved the problem. CONCLUSION: I would buy this again and I would also purchase it as a gift. I think the folks who gave negative reviews either didn't read the directions entirely or didn't mount it properly, or rated the wrong product. I don't usually write a review this long but I think the manufacturers deserve another good review to discount the negative ones. Buyers also deserve to have it for informational purposes.

Using this mirror might cost you a toe!
This is the worst Amazon purchase I have made to date. It falls off the wall constantly and fogs up immediately. This is the first review I have written for an Amazon purchase, and I am doing it because I feel compelled to do so. I should have known I was in for trouble when I opened the package and there was a note inside saying, “Don’t return this product.” The requested that you contact them first for help/solutions. This tells you that what they are selling is faulty, and I should have returned it then. But I didn’t... alas. The first time I attached it to the wall (after watching their “Installation” video, which was as obvious as can be), it fell off within an hour, crashing to the tub and alarming all. I rewatched the video, wondering if there was something that I missed, but alas I did not. The mirror would continue to fall off and crash to the tub, with the bottom plastic lip breaking off and leaving a jagged edge (see attached image). After the first five falls, I relented and took to the habit of mounting it only for my “shave time” and putting it away when not in use. This was not how I had intended to use the product. Additionally, the anti-fog protection disappeared within the first month and now the mirror fogs up completely in about 30 seconds, before I can even get one cheek shaved. Basically, the mirror is too heavy for the suction force it utilizes for mounting to the wall. After months of just trying to make do with this mistake, I am giving up and purchasing something else... before this mirror comes crashing down and chopping off one of my toes with its jagged plastic.

Great product and even better customer service
The mirror itself is exactly what I hoped it would be...a mirror I can use to shave in the shower that doesn't fog up. It actually works better than I hoped, as the suction device isn't simply a "press and pray" sort of suction cup, but rather more sophisticated. It using a turn-locking mechanism I hadn't seen previously, and after about two weeks, it as worked without any issues. So the product itself is quite good. The main reason for the 5 star review (something I tend to be pretty picky about) is the customer service. When the mirror first arrived, I wasn't able to attach it to my shower wall, as the tile in my bathroom doesn't provide a sufficiently smooth surface. Before I had a chance to reach out to Red Apples (the seller), they reached out to me to see if I was satisfied with the purchase. I explained the situation, and (after ensuring I was using in properly) offered to send me a solution free of charge. This solution was a plastic disk with an adhesive side (the sort you use to protect drywall from doorknobs) that would provide the proper surface for the mirror to stick. It works perfectly. Sure, it's a simple solution, but the fact that Red Apples thought about this, and offered it as a free addition was unexpected and genuinely thoughtful. It's these little things that really make the difference in customer satisfaction, and I can happily say that this product and seller wholly deserve 5 stars.

La ventosa non funziona
Purtroppo la ventosa non tiene e dopo qualche minuto cede. Caduto così piu volte. Si è quindi Rotto e non è piu utilizzabile.
