Can this brace be used for walls too? Or is the another way to secure a bathroom fixture other directly to the drywall. Thank you

This item is electrical junction box attached to a cross brace. It allows placement of a junction box between joists and will support the weight of a light fixture or ceiling fan. If you are trying to secure a heavy fixture or a fixture that may have a lot of force on it such as a grab rail in your bathroom, I would consider heavy duty dry wall anchors like Togglers or WingIts.

Can this brace be removed? I want to replace a recessed fixture with a chandelier in my apartment and will have to reverse the process when I leave.

Why would you want to remove it? Just mount the original light to this box when you remove the chandelier

Box will be on the far right side of brace, expanded 16" across the joists. Will it still safely support a ceiling fan?

Yes, this box will support a ceiling fan (up to 70 pounds) anywhere along bar when it is installed properly.

Can this brace be used for sloped ceiling?

In my opinion, this brace mounting system would make the attached junction box flush with the ceiling. If you plan to attached a ceiling fan to it, the fan assembly would need to be adjustable to compensate for the slope of the ceiling. Hope this helps you with your question. Robert Campbell
