Great for the price, pairs easily to Switch and Steam
I really needed a controller to use for my Switch, as holding the entire console for any extended gaming hurts my hands. I was going to get an adapter to just use my Xbox controller, but I sold my Xbox so I turned to PowerA. It paired quickly to the switch [Home screen > Controllers > Change grip/order > Press the sync button on the controller > once it shows up, press A] and worked great in game. I also really needed a controller that would pair to Steam on my PC as well, because some games I play I really just prefer having a controller. There were some mixed reports about this working with Steam, so I took a gamble since it was only $35. It works, but you will need to reconnect it to your PC with bluetooth, and then select the controller in Steam every time it seems. To do so, follow these steps- Turn bluetooth ON for your PC > On the controller, press and hold the Sync button > on your PC, click "Add bluetooth or other device" > Select "Bluetooth, mice, pens, or audio" > Select the device. It shows up as a Pro Controller > Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > Select "Switch Pro Configuration Support" > The controller should show at the bottom, select it > Play games comfortably!! When it's successfully paired, you can exit the controller settings, and open games normally through steam, or go through the Big Picture mode and start them. As long as the controller stays on, then it will automatically connect to games and you can just pick it up and start moving with analog sticks rather than WASD. You can also select to use Nintendo button layout, otherwise it'll default to Xbox layout. I prefer the Nintendo layout, so I have mine selected but this is completely optional. As for the build quality, it feels cheap, I'm not gonna lie. But it was like half the price of any other controller on the market, does the same thing, and looks a bit more cute in my opinion. Even with batteries, the controller is super lightweight. To some this might be a negative, because it does feel nice to have a sturdy controller, but I actually like that it's so cheap and lightweight since that puts less strain on my hands during lengthy game sessions.

Will use when I get my Switch 2, great purchase!
This controller was a great purchase and I don't regret it in the slightest. I've had it for ages and there's little to no drift, at least that I can notice. The design is adorable and the controller itself feels very lightweight, and I will continue to use this controller whenever I end up getting my Switch 2!

Fantastic Controller at Affordable Price
We have two of these controllers and they have been fantastic! While it would be great to get the Pro controller, Nintendo charges way too much. These are good alternatives. However, I wish that it had a rechargeable battery inside so I didn't have to constantly replace the batteries. I think we probably get close to 20 hours of playtime on a set of rechargeable batteries, but it would still be nice to just plug it in and have it recharge. They are comfortable to play with and are a huge improvement over the joycons. We got our controllers for around $25 during a sale and my kids have loved the themes they chose.

Very cute and fun!
I got this controller because not only do I LOVE animal crossing but I love me some K.K Slide. The controller its self is super easy to pair to the switch and is also super light and fits well into your hands. It's a little cheap feeling but it's a really nice controller and it's very reliable to match with your cute limited edition animal crossing switch (if you were lucky enough to get one)

No haptics, but works well.
The controller was really cute. It was easy to set up, and even came with batteries. It had a nice feel (kind of like the pro controller) and was very lightweight. There were two negatives for me, and one is the reason I’m returning the product. If these issues are not an issue for you, then I would recommend. Issue 1: Uses batteries, and is not rechargeable on its own. Obviously, I could use rechargeable batteries, but it’s just not my preference. Issue 2: no haptics. I am returning for this reason, as I need haptics the games that I play. If I had just bought the Witcher themed version of this, I think my husband would’ve been happy with the product, and we probably wouldn’t be returning.

Cutest controllers
These are the cutest controllers but after a bit there is drift with the left stick.

Cheap feel coupled with terrible design.
This controller has 3 extra buttons underneath. This sounded like a neat feature at first, but unfortunately, two of them are located on the grips, which is a really obtrusive location. There is NO avoiding pressing these buttons even when I did not mean to. Simply by holding the controller, my hands come in contact with these buttons. It requires a concerted effort to *avoid* pressing them which makes the controller not at all comfortable or relaxed to use. Granted, you're not obligated to map anything to these buttons, and can just try to ignore that they're there. The problem is, these buttons are REALLY LOUD, so I would hear really loud clicks constantly whenever I would inadvertantly press the buttons, simply by using the controller as I normally would. I actually tried to remedy this by unscrewing the back of the controller and removing those grip buttons, which turned out to be single piece for all three of the underneath buttons. But this leaves gaping holes where the buttons used to be, exposing the controller's circuitry to dust/lint, and generally making the controller uncomfortable to hold. (the edges of the holes were sharp!) So what I did instead, is place the button piece back inside and try bending/warping so it would no longer be possible to register presses. (Essentially I've I made it so the buttons are constantly pressed.) I was able to do this successfully, resulting in grip buttons that are nearly flush with the rest of the controller. so I felt that solved the issue with the annoying grip buttons. Sadly, even after going through ALL the trouble, I tried holding the controller again and seeing if I was satisfied, I began to notice that the controller just feels cheap / low quality in general. It's like something a random happened to make in shop class or by using a 3D printer in their own time. Above all the ABXY buttons were very loud and their resistance felt "chalky". In the end I could not see myself using this controller for anything, save for maybe games that don't use ABXY buttons, which is not what I bought the controller for. To give PowerA some credit, the dpad and analogs seemed pretty much perfect so it's a shame about everything else.

DO NOT BUY! I put five stars so Amazon doesn't delete this bad review. Controller is fine but not worth $80 ... It takes AA batteries but has a divider so I can't put in my chargeable packs. It works properly but is cheaply made. Don't drop it at all, I just got it and the joystick is messed up after it fell off my couch.

I AM IN LOVE!
Ok. I don’t think people are reading the deets before buying. This controller DOES NOT FEEL CHEAP! It is lighter than a controller with the rumble feature, of course, because there’s no little rumble motor in it! But it feels great in my hands and it looks gorgeous! It took about a second to pair with my new AC special edition switch, and has stayed connected beautifully! I’ve turned my switch on and off a few times, and it has stayed paired. No, it won’t scan your amiibos. But your switch will! So nbd. If you’re an AC fan, this is a great addition to your collection. It’s so pretty. I’ve preordered the Timmy & Tommy one now too lol. Couldn’t help myself. I defs recommend and am totally satisfied so far!

No rechargeable battery!
Great controller. Feels sturdy. Description says it has a rechargeable battery, but this isn’t true. It comes with two AA batteries.
