When I bought this, I was worried it would be a harder plastic. However, it is a great firmness while still being flexible. One of the reviews show it broken, but you have to REALLY bite to break this. Even biting as hard as I can, they didnt break or even puncture, leading to a very nice bite. I only just got them long enough ago to begin to tire out my jaw, so maybe its an over time thing. My only wish is that it was purple. :)

We started using the Xtra Tough Sensory Chew Necklace when my son was 4, and it’s been such a help! He loves it, and it really helps calm him when he’s feeling overwhelmed. It’s super durable, easy to clean, and actually looks nice too. Definitely one of those must-have mom finds! 💙

Purchased for my teething toddler and they work well. They are on the smaller side so a potential choking hazard. They also come on a string like a necklace. I, personally, did not like that and actually tied a pacifier clip to it and that works really well. Very sturdy rubber, I would not expect pieces to break off at all. So far so good!!

Purchased for a child with sensory issues. I like the size, bright colors and the breakaway necklace. This is the only thing we have found that is durable and keeps her from wanting a pacifier or chewing her hair and easy to keep track of.

My grandson loved them and it stopped his biting. But the emergency break away does not work! The cord got caught on his carseat and choked him. It left a red ring on his throat. Sadly we wont use them anymore.

If you have a chewer, these are great and might save the drink straws from the kid's drink bottles. At least that's my hope.

My son had these destroyed from chewing in less than 24 hours. If I could give 0 stars I would.
