MCS Graduation Shadow Box Frame with Tassel Insert (40944) , Black , 10.5x10.5

Great frame to put a graduation photo and tassel in. It is plain, but still very nice. I did not have any issues with the build quality. I am happy with this purchase, and it is a good deal at around $15-20. I think you would be hard pressed to find this same style and quality for that price at a big retailer. Seems thick and well made.My original review was mistaken, this does not have the little metal tabs that you bend down to hold the back on. It has the round hook style that you spin around and latch under the edge of the frame. Way better and holds the back on better.

Used for my granddaughter’s kindergarten graduation

The hook for the tassel was much too small to be able to tie the tassel onto it. I ended up having to scotch-tape the tassel to the outside of the frame in order to make it work. Also, the mat was pretty flimsy and I had to use scotch tape to get the picture to stay. It looks nice and all in all, for the price it is a good frame.

This is a very nice frame and tassel holder for the price. A 5 X 7 photo fits perfectly and although my son's tassel was longer than the insert, I was able to position it so the graduation year emblem could be easily seen. The frame is well made, and it was very easy to position both the photo and the tassel. It is a nice keep sake and great way to preserve both a picture and the tassel.

I had been looking for a frame, but due to the fact "graduation" is attached they all have been overpriced. This worked perfect! Looks great and many have complimented how nice my daughter's picture and tassel look in the frame. It does not have a stand on the back though, so you will have to hang it on the wall. Maybe you could find an easel if that isn't an option, but it would need to accommodate approximately 1.5"in thickness to fit in an easel.

While the frame is great the biggest issue I had was trying to figure out how to hang the tassel I thought mine was regular size but it was a bit complicated and since it had no directions (I'm pretty sure it may have seemed obvious to fit ) I had some issues and ended up taping my tassel to the back of the paper to get it to look like the picture it he frame was heavy duty and looks great it's not cheaply made at all and what may have been easy for some just wasn't for me I will buy another soon though

This frame is pretty low quality. It does the job it's intended to do, but you can tell that the manufacturer tried to save money wherever possible. The frame is plastic, though it looks clean and tidy. The glass is actually glass and not plastic, so that's nice. There is no way to attach a photo to the mat-board without taping it on yourself, which feels a little tacky (not that anyone else can see it). The two mat-board pieces are not well glued together and mine had a big ugly gap forming that I had to glue together myself (once glued, though, it looks fine). Additionally, my mat-board is rather bent inward in the center, which looks a bit tacky. Again, I had to take it out and try to flatten it under something heavy for a while to get the curve out as much as possible. In the end, it looks nice - but I shouldn't have had to fiddle with it as much as I did and I doubt it would hold up to any out-of-the-ordinary wear and tear.

Beautiful gift and great price

I used this as a memorial to my son who recently passed away. His picture was put in as well as the necklace that holds a few of his ashes. It looks beautiful

Decent product for its price. Not amazing quality, but if you are just placing it on display it doesn't need to be very sturdy. The ones selling on professional photography sites are double the price, so this is a good buy. I will buy it again for my sister's graduation.

I was very happy with the quality of this frame that I ended up buying a second one to put away for when my son graduates in two years. Friends also saw it and ended up ordering one as well.
