Absolutely brilliant bit of kit. Very easy to use, the cable cutting tool took a little getting used to with the different blade hights. Everything seems very durable, the functionality of the crimping tool is very good and the little connectors fit very well when the cable is cut to the right size and length. 10/10.

Cable stripper fiddly to set up, but crimper easiest I've eve used. Low rating because the instructions need to be clearer. Equipment fine once you get used to setting the gauges correctly. Have a practice first!

This is an excellent tool...all I did was measure my cable diameter against the guide on the tool....set the cutter to the right cable diameter...insert the cable and compress and that was job done. I tried it out on a test cable and I could not pull the cable out no matter how hard I tried. I suspect that the fittings are designed specifically for certain cable but for standard sky cable they worked great. The connector is an excellent design...if you look inside there is a cylindrical tube that slides under the outer sheath which I think provides a great connection for the outer shielding. Tool is simple to use....doesn't take hardly any force to compress the fitting....if you can get the top off a jar of pickles they you'll easily manage this.

Absolute ideal for terminating co-ax satellite and antenna cables. The supplied automatic stripper works extremely well as does the crimp tool.

The tool itself is okay, but the connector says it is for RG6 cable. My cable has RG6 stamped on it, but these connectors are too big when crimped and fall off the cable. So either the cable is stamped wrong, which i doubt, or the supplied connectors are not for RG6 cable. so now have to get new connectors

The quality of the crimper, cable stripper and the connectors was OK but nothing special. The instructions were far too brief for a novice and the first time I used it to strip the insulation it did not in fact cut the inner core insulation and I first had to learn how to adjust the depth of the two internal cutting blades with the little Allen key stored in the underside of the stripper. Only then did I get the cable fully stripped. When crimping the connector with the crimping gun the first time the join came out "crooked" and it need several more attempts (rotating the cable slightly each time) in order for the crimped join to be even.

Much more sturdy than expected from photo. It just works.
