This is a fantastic replacement screen for the iPhone XR. It fits absolutely perfectly, with no gaps or loose edges at all. The material and grip feel really good, just like the original screen. It’s a brilliant cheaper alternative to expensive official replacements, but the quality still feels solid and reliable. It was really easy to install – I managed to fit it all by myself without any trouble at all. I’m very happy with how it looks and works, it’s exactly what I needed. Would definitely recommend!

Brought as a gift

I managed to break the supplied Y000 screwdriver fairly easily, but read that some of these screwdrivers can be unlucky and fail in manufacturing. I bought another one, but if you find yours has broken, it's worth finely sanding it down to regain its structure. Possibly worth investing in a second Y000 screwdriver. The screen is now installed and works perfectly. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts, as the price is very good! Very difficult and fiddly to fit, so would not advise to those who don't usually fiddle. I followed the YouTube guide carefully, however the wires and connectors are super fragile and small, easy to mess up. Also a heads up to anyone using this screen – you get a warning message in settings, that you can't get rid of, telling you it isn't a genuine Apple part. Slightly annoying/distracting when in settings... But it is what it is.

So, I looked through the really mixed reviews and decided to take a chance. The screen arrived swiftly and well packaged, all tools supplied as listed. Knowing the issues I’d read and seen I knew that this was all about patience and being organised. I set up pieces of masking tape to hold the screws I removed and made sure they were replaced in the exact same places as removed as they’re all different sizes. Watch every YouTube video you can find first and when connecting the screen make sure you confirm every connection is made and stays connected! Putting the new screen back into the iPhone housing was probably the toughest bit and probably where most breaking occurs. I took my time and fitted it in under an hour. The screen is as bright and clear and the colours look perfect. Face on I would be hard pushed to tell the difference between this and the original screen (before it was broken) There is a slight colour change at very shallow viewing angles but honestly it isn’t really worth mentioning. I’d say this was a fantastic buy to keep an aging iPhone working. And, if my daughter drops it again I’ll be back for another without hesitation 😉

Phone was completely fine except for the screen, I bought this as a replacement but now the phone gets very hot and is stuck in a boot loop + it gets very hot. Will be asking for a refund

This was a joy to fit. It took me about 1 hour from start to finish and has worked flawlessly. I was very happy that for such a small amount I had the iPhone working again. I was a little worried beforehand but would replace a screen again without any concerns. To replace the screen only the screen needs to be removed and then a part taken off of the old screen to put on the new one. Other than that, nothing else needs to be removed. Touch screen works well, seems as good as the original and colour seem good. Fitted well and level. No difference from the original visually. {Phone looks brand new now). Obviously, you get a message to say it is not a genuine screen but this is only on start up and does not cause any problem. Any difficulties I had were with the phone rather than the screen, for example getting off the old screen took a little while (maybe 10 minutes) and the size of screws were very small. Take your time and will be good.

Only just installed. The screw drivers it came with didnt fit oddly, luckily i had an old pair that fit better. The visual quality seems great, however when typing messages the phone seems to do its own thing, for instance i will type ‘blue birds flying over dover’ next and lets see what it actually comes out with.
