These are easy to make using either water or milk. The texture is more like ice cream if you use milk. They tasted good with sufficient flavor. They make a small portion size so it is expensive for the portion size.

I have been using Junket to make homemade ice cream for years. It makes better, creamier ice cream than you can find in any ice cream parlor you can find. Just put the mix, cream and milk is a blender, mix till smooth, dump it into an ice cream maker (manual or electric. In 20-30 minute) and there you have it. My two favorite hits with the family is Chocolate Junket with chopped Andes Mint chunks and the other is Vanilla with Black Cherries (cut in half) and some of the syrup mixed in after the Ice Cream is made. I use the Black Cherries like you would use in an "Old Fashioned).
