Hands down the best scooter on the market
I just purchased a second scoter of this brand . I’ve tried numerous other scooters just to compare and ended up sending them all back . I got my first Cityglide scooter about two years ago. It’s gotten a little scuffed up but still works fine. I tried other brands and they all were disappointments. Pros and cons with this one. Smooth ride wheels perfect size not too big and not too small Foot rest sits low enough to the ground so no need to bend down too far in order to get it going Handle bar super easy to attach just two screwes to tighten and also wide enough for adult use Adjustable height super easy Folding mechanism also super easy. The click button easy to operate and doesn’t require too much strength in the hands for those of us suffering fr arthritis . Kick stand placed just right so one can actually kick it in and out by the foot rather then having to bend down manually have to pull it out Foot rest not too wide and not too narrow. Scale of the scooter perfect doesn’t take up much room when folded . No rattle noise of any kind when in use. Super sleek design and color choices. Lightweight easy to lift and carry CONS: None Best money I’ve ever spent on a practical product I use daily to get to and from where I park tat work. It saves me so much time it’s soo worth it. Like I said purchased a second one just in case my original one breaks or falls apart at some point and they stop making this model . I absolutely love it and find it irreplaceable. Just get it, you won’t regret it.

AWESOME!!! BEST scooter!
I'm an adult mountain biker, snowboarder, and a designer & mechanical engineer. I've only just got this CITYGLIDE C200 blue, but really like it. I closely analyzed the top 10 scooters on AMZ for several hours before choosing. It has the longest deck so a LOT of room for your feet to move when you switch your feet/ kick leg. Totally different experience than with a 12" deck where you are always trying to squish your feet onboard. The deck is wide enough for stability, but keeps a sleek narrow profile, perfect. Lightweight. The design is very nice, it could easily be award winning, because when you look at it, you just want it, looks like it could be much more expensive. Structurally it is very sturdy and appears well built. The kick brake has a honeycomb like mold shape which looks very cool. There is no wiggle at all between the deck and the steering bar/column. This is critical for a smooth solid ride. I also tried the Hiboy T1. I much prefer this one in every way. That one had signficiant wiggle between the steering column and the deck, so it felt more unstable and a very different ride experience. That one was only 12" deck, so my feet would not fit side by side, like skateboarding stance. It had a 6" wide deck, so I thought it would be better, but it wasn't. When both feet only fit in forward position, you look and feel goofy, not at all cool like in a skateboarding stance. The only consideration might be a shock absorber but this one does not feel overly jarring, and shocks probably damper some of the ride energy too, making it less efficient, I haven't tried one. This is completely unsponsored, I am just very enthusiastic about recommending this. I cannot attest to it's durability or longevity, but it appears well built. I would like to see more rubber on the wheels. The Hiboy had about twice as much rubber which might offer more shock absorbtion, and tread life, I can't say without knowing for sure if it's actual rubber depth, or just appears that way.

Tighten the bolts before riding - and be careful of the strap
The Bolts: We bought 4 of these & discovered an issue on the first one that I assembled. During a "test ride" the scooter buckled/folded while in use. Bottom of scooter got heavily scraped-up, but I was (luckily) fine. In doing some troubleshooting, we discovered that the lower-most set of bolts below the hinge point was a little loose. After fully tightening that set with the enclosed wrenches, the scooter no longer folds while being ridden. These bolts were loose on 2 of the 4 scooters we received. The instructions we received did not make any mention of tightening these bolts, nor the importance of them being as tight as possible. The Strap: The strap is a nice feature, but its pretty easy for the lower strap connector to get pinned and crushed while making sharp turns - especially if the handlebars get turned "backwards". We ended-up removing all the straps to avoid them being crushed after one of ours was mangled. Aside from those nits, great scooters. Would buy again - just wish I knew these things up front.

Really good scooter, kind of flimsy strap
My wife and I ordered two of these and we're really enjoyed them for getting around the city (and for rides along the beach). They're a pretty smooth ride, easy to push, way faster than walking, easy to fold and unfold. We got them in part so we wouldn't have to lock up bikes where they might get stolen; we carry them in with us to shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Their definitely light enough for that. As other reviews have noted, the brake doesn't have amazing stopping power, but it's absolutely adequate for every situation we've encountered, including going down (not too steep) hills. The only downside we've encountered is that my wife's scooter's carrying strap got bent during one ride (not sure how it happened, but we weren't doing anything wild). We tried to bend it back into place but that just led to the latch not aligning anymore. I reached out to customer service to see if we could buy a replacement, but never received a response. Maybe this was a one-off--I haven't had any trouble with mine--and it doesn't affect our riding.

STURDY AND WELL BUILT
Got this for my daughter as her final "adult" scooter that she can take with her and use for life, assuming she doesn't wreck it. She's 5'7 already as a 14 yr old and this scooter has plenty of adjustments to accommodate taller people. The larger wheels make it much easier to roll over cracks, rocks, bumps you name it with ease, better than the Razor scooters. No this is according to my daughter, "It rolls really fast" and she has tried jumping with it thinking it's a trick scooter and does hold or at least so far has held up to her amateur beating of the sidewalks and street curbs. Like I say it's an adult scooter and even for me at 6'-ish, I can kick around the neighborhood with as much ease as she can. I did check into it, and the wheels are universal which means you can upgrade, replace or custom to whatever other wheels out there. That is the biggest bonus for me... Price might be up there for a "scooter" yet there are more expensive ones and cheaper ones, you get what you pay for and what you are paying for this scooter is at an excellent price point to value scale on the consumer index.

Amazing - glides just as far as a Xootr MG
As a person who lost their job to these trying circumstances, who got their car repo'd, and cant afford a "decent" bicycle for $500 this is the bee's knees. Ive gone now at LEAST 150 miles wet and dry on the Cityglide thus far. It is a fulltime method of transportation for me. Ive only ridden a Xootr MG and the Cityglide. (Bought both and this one was meant to be a spare but I ride this more!) There is absolutely differences. Aka this is $90 latter is over $300. What WAS remarkable was I could glide just as far as the best scoot in the world. Seriously! I could buy 4 Cityglides versus 1 Xootr. Its just as easy to push. What is actually different then? Well, latch is different style. Cityglide is VERY quick and I prefer it over Xootr. Deck on Cityglide is narrow versus others which are wider. (I prefer goofy aka skinny so Cityglide won for me but most prefer wide) Neither rattles so no issue there. Cityglide is a smidge higher off the ground, after 20 miles its very tolerable. Sadly the one downside if any to the Cityglide is SPEED. Im not going downhill etc just cruising so no issue for me, but alas Cityglides caveat is speed. Pushing all my might I could not, COULD NOT catch up to the Xootr. Not a bad thing! Just something to keep in mind because you usually only scoot as fast as you can kick. Thank you so much for at least partly 'making' this in the USA. That is what made me choose them over the literally 100s online. Thank and bless you guys for making a solid product!

Not bad
My daughter uses this scooter every day and so far it has held up as the frame can support her weight. She is 11 but big for her age and we went through three scooters prior.. my complaint about it is the lever to fold it broke with in the first two months and is cheap plastic so it cannot fold. The kickstand bent and is unstable and does not work anymore either..

Misleading weight capacity, poor brake, but otherwise solid
First things first. My son got a scooter for his birthday. Now he's zooming around the park and having to stop and wait every minute or so for me to catch up on my slow feet. So we ordered this for me to keep up with him. The major selling point was that it has a 300 lb capacity for riders. I'm currently about 280 and working on reducing that, so 300 lb capacity was perfect. Fast forward to receiving it today. I'm looking through the "Before You Start" section of the owner's manual and it clearly states 220 lb capacity. I then look at the scooter itself and there's a sticker on it that also says 220 lb capacity. Confused, I look up the item again. Nope, it says 300--oh, wait, down in the expanded description with all the graphics, it says 220. And if you search through the asked questions, you see others with the same issue. The seller misled about the weight capacity. Nevertheless, I tried it out and it rides well. I had to adjust the front wheel alignment, as it was off by about 5 degrees, but that was easy to do. Assembly was quick and easy. Rides fairly smooth, though that's hard to tell due to our driveway being a bit rough and bumpy. The handlebar adjusts to the height I need it to, and it appears to hold my weight despite the capacity rating (many items with weight capacities are actually rated higher than they claim due to OSHA, state versions of OSHA and excess of caution). However. The rear brake. It does not stop you, even on a flat surface. It only slows you down. Looking at other reviews (my wife bought this for me and must've missed those review), I see other complaints about the brake. If you're going downhill, you either need a runway at the bottom to slow down with or you need to jump off the scooter to get it to stop. Because of those two fairly major issues, I can only rate this three stars. I am going to do further testing with it later today at a park with trails for bikes, scooters, boards, etc. and see how it handles there. If I feel it will hold my weight well enough, I'll keep it. If I feel it'll break in a month, though, I will return it.

Very good scooter
I bought this scooter to ride alongside my daughter who is not feeling to learn to ride a bike just yet and who will eventually transition to this as a teen. It has adjustable height and big rubber wheels for all terrain, it’s foldable and has a shoulder strap for east carrying. The scooter has been tested by a 9yr old (75lbs), all the way to my husband (220lbs) and it is sturdy and rides well. 👍🏻

Broke after 3 months and company unresponsive
I used this product for about 3 months on my commute to work, nothing strenuous but for about an hour a day (30 minutes in the morning, 30 in the evening). To start with it was great, and I had no issues, but about 3 months into use, the latch that keeps the handlebars in place broke, meaning the handlebars would not stay in position. I found the manufacturer and emailed them directly as I thought 3 months was terrible for the scooter to break. I was told they didn't have any replacement parts, so they would give me a code to purchase a new scooter via the website, but as I am in the UK and they are US based, they couldn't ship internationally via the website. They then said they would send be directly to me, that was in July and I've heard and received nothing. The scooter itself was great until it broke, lightweight, easy to carry and felt sturdy enough (although that was clearly not true). I've given 1 star mainly for the treatment I've received from the company in trying to resolve the issue I have.
