Just Wow! The quality is unbelievable!
I am a full time traveling musician so I understand the need for road-worthy gear. I have to admit I bought a Amazons Basic mic stand a few years ago and it was worthless but at the time it was on;y like $15 so I just sucked it up and tossed it. I looked at the photos and checked out the weight and specs and figured I'd try it! I'm glad I did! The tripod base of this stand is beefy, it's got a little weight like it should have being it's the base and foundation of the stand. The rest of the stand feels and looks rugged too! You can't go wrong for the price that's for sure!

Best stand for the cost
I checked all over the internet and read a bunch of reviews. More importantly I also went to college for recording and production for quite a few years and have used a number of different stands. I'm not going to lie, there are better stands out there- but they start at about $80. This is the best buy for the money in my opinion. Good metal material for most parts of the stand. The clamp could be better but it's much better than the other cheap options at the same price. I also read all the bad reviews- for people complaining about the legs not being stable or collapsing when they are not extended all the way. That's because the legs should be extended all the way lol. That will also get you the widest base for balance. The only time stand legs shouldn't be out all the way is MAYBE if you are finagling legs in between drum set hardware (cymbal stand legs in the way, etc.) Put one of the legs in the same direction as where your mic is sticking out. Get a stand weight for the back of the boom arm if need be. If you don't know how to set it up or what I'm talking about, just search it on YouTube. People also complain about the clip- can't say if that's valid I'm using a shock mount, but you should probably have received a clamp/shock mount specific to your mic when you bought your mic- use that. I originally complained when I got this product (but that was just because it came damaged in shipping- and Amazon replaced it for me and covered the shipping) so I'm now adjusting my original review. The product itself is/was great I'm not going to blame the product on what was ultimately a shipping mishap.

Works fine but not the best
Basic mic stand. Works fine but I know there are better stands out there. This is probably the most cost effective route. The stand feels flimsy and there is no counter weight. The boom doesnโt secure enough to keep it from spinning at least with an iPad mounted to it but would lock enough for a mic. Overall I am happy with it because the quality for the price is fine. This stand should hold up to daily use and wont break the bank.

Great Stands for a Great price
Great stand for a great price. We are a small church and we just moved into as middle school for Sunday service. These stands are great and hold the cordless microphones in place. You can't go wrong stands or price.

Sturdy, dependable mic stand
Great mic stand. Saw some reviews saying it was too short, but I have 8 ft ceilings and couldn't even extend it all the way open. Plenty tall enough. Great piece of equipment for the money!

Well built!
doing road shows and for not alot of money this is a great deal. Well made. Heavy enough with wide enough stance to stay put. Had it for several months and so far has held up great!!

*European Mic Stand
The stand is of pretty good quality for the money. However, the 3 star rating is because it is a European sized stand with the thread adapter for the US mic clips. This is incredibly irritating because the adapter will come off with your mic clip every time you remove it, and will have to take the adapter out of the clip with a screwdriver (torquing it on the stand only works for a little while). Will work great if you use a single mic/ keep the same clip, but I would personally spend double the money to avoid this problem

Perfect for what I needed it for
I needed it to hold my iPhone or iPad while I teach online piano lessons. I used it in tandem with a claw that grabs the devices and the boom "looks" over my shoulder to see the keys that I am playing on my keyboard. I like that it is adjustable to hold either device.

Needs to be balanced, or will slowly move
The boom part needs to be balanced with a counterweight, especially if you extend it in one direction all the way and attach a heavy mic to the end. Tightening it to the max still won't work, the boom mic will slowly move down over time. Also the tighening handle is only made of plastic, making it easy to break if you try to tighten it too much.

terrible product
Very stupid design, I'm sorry I have.to say it! Three legs never can stand, alway falling apart, nothing to hold them stable in between! cant believe it!
