What is the expiration date of this candy?

The expiration on these kinds of purchases is typically 3-6 months, but if unopened, the package will last a good year. Assuming the environment around it isn't damp and hot, then the candy should taste fresh as well throughout that time. When I purchased this pack of Candy Corn, it had 4.5 months until expiration, but I don't know the manufacture date. Hope that answers your question.

are they processed on the same machinery as nuts/peanuts?

I bought these last year, but at that point, they were totally peanut-safe. That's the reason I bought them.

No egg not sure about other ingredients

How does the taste compare to Brachs?

I've never really liked candy corn. I use it to decorate desserts . I bought jelly belly for the first time & i liked them better than brachs. So Yes they do taste better. I hope this helps

GROSS!! Buy Brach’s!!

The flavor of Jelly Bean candy corn was gross! It tasted nothing like candy corn is supposed to taste. I couldn’t even eat it and threw it away! Stick with Brach’s!! I do not recommend!!

Nut free & awesome

100% hands down love this candy corn-and THANK YOU Jelly Belly for making a candy corn that is made in a peanut free facility! Usually it's impossible to find...My son has a nut allergy so Halloween can be an 'interesting' holiday. But thanks to Jelly Belly, at least the candy corn is good to go!

Less red dye but also less flavor

They were okay but really don’t taste authentic like the cheaper variety. Sadly the cheaper ones have more red dye junk. Kids liked these though.

Great Taste

I needed these for a class harvest party with a because there was a nut-allergy. Since these are nut-free they were perfect. (Had no idea the candy corn you get at the grocery store were manufactured in a facility that processes nuts). The price is a lot higher than original candy corn, but I was just glad to find a nut-free alternative. And they taste the same to me.

Is It Just Me?

I'm not really sure if this review is fair. It could just be my taste in things. I have had to deal with celiac disease for the past 6 years. I tried this candy corn that was labeled gluten free as no other candy corn out there is labeled gluten free. Well, it didn't make me sick with gluten. But the taste was simply awful! It tasted like the plastic bag it came in, and the candy was stuck together pretty good when it arrived. I have officially given up on candy corn after this experience.

Tasted stale

I needed candy corn for a cookie project and chose to use these because, face it, candy corn is not everyone's favorite flavor. Jelly Belly, however, is a favorite of most people. I tasted the candy corn and, to me, it had a stale taste. I checked the expiration date and it was well within the time (it didn't expire until 2024) so it was still considered "fresh". I used the candy corn on my cookie project and the cookies turned out beautifully. I have never been a fan of candy corn, so maybe others might consider Jelly Belly's candy corn delicious. I did not.
