Super 👌 Worked like a dream!

I have an old vcr and ever once in awhile, I want to playback a tape. Of course it doesn't work and needs cleaning. This tape cleaner did the business perfectly. There was also a bottle of head cleaner Included that was unexpected but very welcome. All in all job done - well pleased. Many stars given.

You need to be careful with the bottle as the cap popped open and split everywhere but cleans up the video recorder nicely and no longer flickering like before

The instructions state to use 2-3 drops of the liquid, applied directly to the tape. The liquid comes in a small bottle with a screw cap. You take off the screw cap and there is a small 'dropper' head with what appears to be a tiny hole. I gently squeezed the bottle with the dropper attached and nothing comes out, squeeze a little harder and the whole head come off. Liquid everywhere and tape ruined. My dropper head doesn't have a whole in it at all. Tried pushing a needle through and it appears that the whole does not extend the whole way though. I imagine this is a quality issue.

Prompt delivery. Put fluid on tape as instructed. Inserted tape pressed play. Ran tape as instructed for so many seconds, stopped machine remove cleaning cassette. Then inserted tape that showed noise bars while playing, once it started all noise bars had gone and tape played cwith clear and sharp picture again. Cleaning tape is made, so repeat cleaning can be done for many times, before it needs replacing. Excellent product, thank you very much.

If like me you are planning to archive / digitise your VHS collection, one of these is essential - old tapes tend to shed oxide on the spinning video playheads, and regular cleaning prevents build-up and enhances playback quality - particularly if you begin to notice straks, distortion or jumping frames. This worked a tteat - it's provided with cleaning fluid - you apply a few drops to the cleaning tape before inserting in your VHS player. (Note - you need to snip off the end of the cleaning fluid nozzle before use). Recommended.

Someone else on here mentioned that the cleaning fluid doesn't come out of its bottle when you squeeze it. I thought maybe they were over reacting. They weren't. Whatever you do, use a pin to pierce the nozzle of the bottle or else the fluid will squirt across the room. Mine literally shot across the room and onto the wall, wasting about half of the bottle. Otherwise the product works as intended.

Nous voulions nous servir de notr magnetoscope afin de graver nos VHS sur DVD mais le magnéto ne lisait plus très bien les cassettes, car c'est ancien et ca ne sert plus. J'ai acheté cette cassette nettoyante, j'ai mis 3 gouttes dans le petit trou en dessous, lecture durant 30sec, je l'ai refait une 2ieme fois histoire que ca nettoie bien, et maintenant nos VHS passent nickel, ok c'est la qualité d'avant mais n'empêche que maintenant ca fonctionne, on a l'image qui est là, le son très bien et tout est parfait on est super contents de ce produit, on le recommande ! Vous avez une fiole de liquide fourni avec la VHS, il y a assez de quoi faire je dirais 40 50 nettoyages, il y a de la marge 😀

This is a China copy and got destroyed directly and ruined my videotape. This shouldn't be for sale to be honest. I recommend Hama, their adapter works perfectly and you can find it here in Amazon
