The Usborne Reading Collection for confident readers

Wonderful must get collection to get your 7 year olds & above to start reading independently. My 7 year old just can't leave it

Poor printing. Not the usual Usborne quality. Even the stories retelling is not up to the mark.

Books are good reading for 7 plus children However this is cheap printed in China product I would not have purchased had I known this is cheap made in China stuff

I remember these books from when I was young, and I am very glad they're still available - now in a smaller format but excellent value for money. There is quite a range of topics covered by the books so I'd advise to check which ones you provide for younger children, but overall I can't rate this highly enough!

I have a couple of these Usborne sets and I love how they make some of the classics accessible to younger readers. Illustrations are great and on very page. Very good value when you factor in the amount of books for the money. A small gripe is that depending on the combination of sets you buy you end up with duplicate versions of the same books but I just gift those to family. Others have complained that some of the content is inappropriate, depending on the age of the reader you would want to have a look at the books first and remove some of them if you fell they are not ready for some of the themes or illustrations (deaths etc).

Fantástico, toda la colección es estupenda, a mi hijo de 7 años le encanta, se lee uno cada día hay días que elige dos. Es una colección estupenda para iniciar a los niños en la lectura, incluso de los clásicos.

My daughter is almost 6, and the first book she read is the little princess. She was immediately drawn by the book and so moved by the story! I read it my own and it was really well written story!
