A/C Pro Certified Air Conditioner Adapter Kit, R12 to R-134a Refrigerant

Works great had a hard time finding a conversion kit from my older truck, but this took care of that problem. I have an 88 Chevy pick up and the high side is different than the later ones this fix my problem

Used this to retrofit some R134 fittings on an old 1987 Nissan D21 hardbody pickup. Had exactly the pieces I needed and a couple left over as well. I'm actually running R152a (Dust Off, Computer Duster, whatever you want to call it) in the truck now with Ester oil and it is working great thanks to these fittings letting me hook up modern 134 gauges to it and recharging the system.

Works perfectly. Doesn’t leak and very easy to install. Would definitely order it again.

Did a great job. Swapping over my sons 89 Chevy C-1500 A/C to R-134A., Worked fine. Blows cold for 6 weeks now. Very happy with this kit. Just be sure you get new schrader valves (the right ones). The high side is unique. 8 oz of PAG oil in a clean system and you blow Ice cold. A standard cab too. 36 oz. of Freon. Blew 45 degrees when done.. This also included a new A/C compressor, orifice tube and accumulator. Sweeeeeeet!

Fits my 92’ LJ78 2LTE. Was able to successfully recharge my AC through the adapter.

This kit provided the quick connect fittings for converting my 93 eagle talon to R134. However, the included low side schrader valve leaked, easy replacement, and y he high side adapter unfortunately didn’t work for me at all. It screwed on and utilized the existing schrader valve, which was then placed too low in the fitting for my gauge side adapter to reach when trying to open. Ended up getting a different high side adapter.

Works as promised. Easy to use.

Getting a fitting for the low side - no problem, it is the standard fitting 1/4 SAE that everyone sells. But on this truck the high side is odd - 3/8-24. Actually smaller than the low side. Looking around, this conversion fitting is not easy to get. So this contains fitting that do fit both those. For the low side you will use the long thin one that has an inbuilt valve. So take the valve out of the old fitting. For the high side you will use the old valve - you might want a replacement.

Here we go again with another kit/company that claims the kit fits all vehicles for the purpose of an R12 to R134a conversion. Third kit I’ve tried claiming it will work with an older GM vehicle and yet another disappointment after paying to have the system evacuated and charged. I managed to get one of the adapters to thread on (low side) just to have it leak through the threads because it was missing the gasket. Very frustrating. THESE LEAK AND DO NOT FIT!

Directions a bit confusing. Worked well for converting R12 fittings on 1990 Jimmy to 134A connectors. Other parts required for conversion to 134A, but these fittings will enable system to be charged after conversion is complete.
