The first Easy DIY murphy bed kit we bought in 2017 my spouse liked this kit very much. So when someone he knew wanted 2 murphy beds and he suggested the same brand. He found this kit easy to understand plus you add the step by step booklets.

Very well made Murphy bed with excellent instructions found it chalenging,not necessarily easy but well worth the trouble.

The instructions are easy to follow. If you take your time and make precise cuts on your lumber/plywood, everything fits together perfect. I modified the plans so I could fold the bed into an existing closet instead of building a cabinet. I'm happy with the result. Sadly, the people that built my house did such a poor job when they framed the closet. It's out of square by about an inch and a half. So, I have a little work left to fix the closet frame.

We used this for a full size murphy bed! Came with instructions. No issues putting in. My boys are 6'6 and 6'8 so we needed something that would support them when they come to visit. I have slept on it several times and I'm 6'1 and 220 pounds and it feels solid. We did make to small wooden pieces to put at the end of the bed due to my boys sizes and it seems to help. Instructions were easy to follow and no issues putting in. Holds av10 inch mattress with matress pad with no issues! Would buy again 5 stars. Assembly went well with no issues! Delivered fast, came with everything that was stated in description. Would purchase again and worthbthe money!

I rarely write reviews. In fact, this one is coming two years late. I bought this kit and built my murphy bed over two years ago. I love it! However three days ago one of the gas prop struts broke. So I looked on Amazon to find replacements, but I couldn't find an exact match for length and pound capacity. A pair run anywhere around $50. Many could be used, but without the exact same size, I would be stuck making adjustments. So I called Easy DIY Murphy Beds, and asked if I could get a replacement gas strut directly from them. Even thought over two years have passed, and I never sent in a warranty card, they said they would send me a pair free of charge and also pay the shipping and handling. They arrived today. Many thanks to Nadia of customer services! Regarding the actual build: I'm handy with tools, and build decks and fences. However this bed requires a lot of cuts. So I had all the wood cut at Home Depot, and marked them as they were being cut so I knew what was what. Once home, it took me about 2 hours to build from start to finish, without help and using power tools instead of hand tools. I feel this might take several hours longer for some people with less hands-on experience. It will be worth it though! I love it, especially on lazy mornings. I can just get up and flip it closed without making the bed (and Noone is none the wiser)
