Columbia womens Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped

I am very impressed with the Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus Amped boots. True to size. Right out of the box they were incredibly comfortable, with no break in period needed. The cushioning and support make them easy to wear for long walks, hikes, or all day errands without foot fatigue. The traction feels stable and secure on different surfaces, and the boots are lightweight while still feeling durable and well made. They provide great support without feeling stiff or heavy. For the quality, these boots are an excellent value for the money. They perform like much more expensive hiking boots while still being stylish enough for everyday wear. Overall, they are super comfortable, reliable, and a great investment.

I bought these from the warehouse as a straight size 7 but there was so much room in the forefoot I double checked the box and it said wide. The shoe itself does not say wide on the tag. So, not quite sure on the size but the fit is very good. The heel is perfect and the forefoot is roomy without being sloppy, the length is just right in my usual size. My toes have room to spread. The shoe seems very well made and comfortable underfoot. Overall a very good buy and I am happy. This is my first Columbia shoe purchase and I recommend them.

I’ve been wearing these hiking boots for the past few months on trails and around town, and they were very comfortable from the start. The break-in period was non-existent (they were ready to wear right out of the box), and they provide excellent support for long walks. The grip is solid on both dry and wet terrain, and the boots feel durable enough to handle regular use. The waterproofing is excellent and my feet stayed completely dry, even when crossing a river! The boots are lightweight enough to wear for all day wear, but for longer hikes they may become a bit heavy feeling. They are true to size and width and have proven to be a great choice among the many options there are for hiking boots.

I live in Florida and I’m not a hiker. I bought these to wear in Canada before knowing the EXTENSIVE hiking my fiance had planned for us and GOOD LORD AM I GLAD I DID. I fell, slipped, and stepped calf deep in watery mud and my socks NEVER got wet, the shoes never leaked water inside, and they were super comfy the whole time! I wore thick hiking socks so it gave my weak beach ankles some support, but I will never skimp on hiking essentials again, especially after these were so fantastic. Do yourself a favor, invest! I will buy this brand over and over again now.

I got these for a hiking trip, recommend by my sister and they were great! Definitely waterproof as you can see me standing in some water in the picture. The only thing I didn’t break them in and I used cotton crew socks which I believe was the cause of my blisters. So I recommend these boots but get actual hiking socks and maybe break them in. I didn’t have time to and I did good, they were comfy other than my socks causing blisters.

The best hiking boots ever!! Very comfortable style, waterproof and lightweight. I love them!! Totally recommended. The size is perfect for me.

I just love these boots! They fit well, are a little on the wide side, but my feet are too. A wide shoe is sometimes too wide for me. But these regular sized boots are perfect! The color with lighter accent colors is striking, with good tread as well. . Great to walk in, can wear all day, and still comfortable at the end of the day.

These are so comfortable and stylish! They really are waterproof, but that comes at a sweaty price. They’re pretty in-breathable. But that’s to be expected with hiking boots, I suppose. They have great ankle support and are cushiony and supportive on the heel and foot, too.

Scarpe davvero comode ed impermeabili. Utilizzate anche sulla neve, in Islanda, garantendomi sempre un piede asciutto e caldo. Adatte anche all’utilizzo di ramponcini.

Heerlijk zittende schoenen. Helaas gaat de zwarte kleur er zeer snel af op de neus. De veters zijn binnen een jaar stuk, helaas zijn deze niet los van Colombia te bestellen en moest ik op zoek naar andere. Verder vind ik ze perfect.

Für mich ein ganz toller Wanderschuh. Ich habe ihn bei einer 20km-Tour im Schnee das erste mal getragen. Beim klettern und Eis hatte ich einen sehr guten halt. Meine Füße sind dabei trocken und warm geblieben. Obwohl der Schuh sehr stabil ist, ist er sehr bequem zu tragen und nicht schwer am Fuß. Vor allem vom Fußbett her. Ich habe keine Blasen von der Wanderung bekommen. Lediglich eine Druckstelle an einem Knöchel, da dieser etwas ausgeprägter ist als der Andere. Das ist allerdings kein Hindernis, da der Schuh mittels der oberen Hakenschnürung super von der weite her einstellen lässt. Ebenso lassen sie sich leicht reinigen. Ich finde die Schuhe von der Größe sehr passgenau. Kann sie sehr weiterempfehlen.

Excelente bota. Utilizei em longas caminhadas. Completamente impermeável . Importante "amaciar" antes.
