Revel Electric Non-Stick Roti, Tortilla, and Flatbread Maker with Temperature Control -CTM 620 (120-volt)

We were very skeptical of these type of roti makers since we failed several times making it work. I complain the company for the lack of instructions on making it work. The only difference between a handmade rolled roti and this roti is about the consistency of the batter. The flour to water ratio is almost double for this machine unlike the handmade rolling. Once you know this secret it works like a charm. It can make a chapati in less than a minute with significantly less effort. Once we know this secret we make dose (dosa), Karnataka style rice rotti, roti, Ragi (ukkarsida) rotti. (Though there isn't any difference in making dose here or on stove). Coming to the product itself, it feels a bit cheap quality, handles are not-so-great plastic. My next roti maker would be a better quality than this for sure. The only reason it is 4 star is because of the quality of the product, but its a 10 star with all other aspects.

This product doesn't work for flower tortillas they are stiff when they are fully cooked.

We bought this product in Oct. 2023. Initially it was little difficult to figure out how to make this machine work as there were no instructions on what consistency of flour should be to work with machine. Once we figured it out, it worked great for 6 months. After that it stopped working at all. Rotis stopped cooking even though light was green and it started sticking on the base. It worked great until it worked for us.

I love it, works really well, it’s a really great product.

Good quality but can make only Roti actually we was looking for Panipuri maker but it’s okay

I ordered new but it was broken and used so I end up returning.

didn't work for flour tortilla

It’s not worth it. Tortilla and roti is too thick. There is a big gap between two plate and even handle is too light to press. You can’t put more weight on it.
