even with my boots filled with water for 6 hours, my toes were still dry. Amazing!

Good but not 100% waterproof
Nothing is waterproof! I got these to use with some flats, which aren't waterproof. As I'm begrudged to spend loads of money on several pairs of shoes. The socks have that neoprean feel and being size 12, I can and have had room for another pair underneath. I mainly go out in the Peak District, so I can expect all conditions in a days ride. I don't have mudguards but wear waterproof trousers and top. If I go through a stream or getting a constant battering by rain or whatever comes off the front wheel, water ingress is inevitable. When my flats have been soaked and there is no chance of drying (winter riding) then the socks can feel cold too, if you don't have another pair underneath. They are a good length. I don't get sweaty feet, but do feel cold more. I will use them through the year. They are a stop gap until the mtb industry pulls its finger out and makes a reasonable priced all year round shoe! ๐ You can put them in the washing machine but I hand-wash my stuff to try and make them last longer and retain their waterproof-ness!

Hands down , the BEST socks I've ever owned !
Like to sport in the wet? Get out and about on the lash? Think no more! These socks are for you (if you're a sporty guy/girl!) Buy it! You won't regret. Dry feet, (not 100% the best at thermal, but still better than any other sock I've ever worn) Maybe get a set of two to make it warmer :)

Great Socks!
Bought these for my daughter for an Explorer Scouts expedition - it was a miserable day and the ground was very boggy but her feet stayed lovely and dry!

Waterproof but not thermal.
Great waterproofing. When drying them after a wash Iโd forgotten to check that they were empty of water. I got a shock to find that after a few hours one still contained water. As for any thermal properties that these socks are supposed to have, I find these really poor. After an hour of cycling my feet are really cold and getting colder. This is despite using waterproof shoe covers for added protection against the wind/cold.
