If I connect both DC wires together to feed 5 pocket lights, which is a total of 100 watts total, is the best in long run ?

If you wire the LEDS. Right. Make sure your dc is 12 volts and the ground is right to all the LEDs.

After installing my system, total 68 watts, sometimes all the lights blink. Any ideas?

This situation should be that your lamp does not match this transformer, this is a constant voltage transformer. If the lamp you are using is a constant current lamp, the situation you described may occur.

Can this be plugged into a Switch outlet to turn 12v lights on and off?

Yes, this product can be switched externally.
