So good that the moment I took my last sip, I craved another cup
The prime quality tea leaves offered here by Elitea brew up a lovely cup of green tea: Mellow, but rich tasting with a wonderful grassy--almost like new spring-time asparagus--aroma. It has a pleasing color also: The leaves I received produced a brew the color that is mentioned on this product page: Golden yellow, with just the barest hint of a pink blush when I hold it up to the light. The enjoyment of this tea begins when you first open the bag. The leaves are lovely, long, unbroken, and very green in color. The fragrance is heavenly: Like the first time you mow your lawn in the spring. With all green teas, and especially this one, it is necessary to respect the instructions provided: Do not use too little tea leaves: It is a good idea to properly weigh these leaves the first or second time. As a test, I guessed the amount that would make up 3 grams--and I way underestimated! Also, do not overestimate 6 ounces of water, either. It is only 3/4 cup of water. If you use too few leaves in too much water, you will be disappointed by a too meek flavor. To prevent bitterness and to get a vibrant flavor, I use 3 ounces of leaves and 6 ounces of water at a temperature of 175. I brewed for 3-4 minutes. A longer brew time gave me a bit of bitterness. Re-using leaves--without rinsing them--gave me a touch of bitterness, too. *I received a sample product from Elitea.

decent green tea.
Pretty good and nutty green tea. for the price there may be better teas out there, but perhaps not at this quantity. It is much better than a common green tea, and a solid go to "daily drinker". Flavor is earthy and more on the nutty side, not many floral or light notes with this one.

Absolutely the best quality low price genuine Dragonwell I've seen!
This tea is a fantastic mid grade dragonwell tea for a very low price! It's better and more fresh than versions I've tried (from some popular tea sellers) that cost almost twice as much! I purchased this because good green tea keeps getting more expensive and this was quite a bit cheaper than what I used to get. I was shocked that it was significantly better tasting and more fresh than the other one! It reminds me of the quality I used to order 10 years ago for a good price before whole leaf green tea prices went way up but even that was more expensive back then.

Poor quality & bitter
Does not look like the vibrant green pictures and the leaves taste quite bitter. The tea tastes ok, not great but not too bad. Iโll keep it as emergency stash. However, Iโm sticking with the higher quality (first grade) dragonwell by FullChea. Same price but WAY better - bright green, sweet, grassy, smooth, not at all bitter. I actually ate leaves from both to compare and one was bitter and the other just grassy. I wonโt but this one again.

Medium Quality Chinese Green Tea
I am very fond of dragon well green (Longjing) tea and have been drinking it for a number of years. This is a medium quality tea and should, in no way, be considered "prime quality". For the price, it is not a bad dragon well green tea, but don't buy it if you want a high quality green tea. If you are new to Chinese green teas, this is not a bad buy.

I'm very disappointed with this green tea
I'm very disappointed with this green tea. Had I known that this tea have low caffeine I would have never bought it. Had the seller indicated in the description I would have never bought it.

Good quality/price balance
This is a good Dragon Well green tea for its price. Of all the long jing teas I have purchased on Amazon this is the best in terms of quality/price. I only drink Dragon Well tea and I have learnt from many years of experience that quality usually goes with price and the only surprises are usually bad ones (you pay a lot for a bad quality tea or an old tea or both.) This brand offers a good balance.
