Old Macdonald: A Hand-Puppet Board Book (Little Scholastic)

My niece loves the puppets! She also held me hostage and made me sing the first three verses over and over again, so it seems like she enjoyed the book, too!

Gave this finger book to my Doctor for his newborn son. He had never seen the book and told me his little girls would be thrilled because they love Old McDonald. His newborn will be entertained forever by his sisters and the finger puppets. It’s soft, cuddly and easy to hold.

If your baby likes the song then I highly recommend this hand puppet activity. . The 15 month old "askes" for it each and every day. . A big hit!

My son received this hand-puppet board book as a gift for his first birthday. It is absolutely adorable. Each puppet is different and reflects the animals in the "Old MacDonald" song. The material is sturdy and the puppets are nicely stitched. My hand and fingers fit comfortably with room to spare for those who have larger hands. My son has enjoyed watching me move the puppets around and going through the book while singing the song. My only complaint about the product is that the book is rather thin. I though it was going to be a fabric book. I do not leave my son's board books out for him to go through whenever he wants because he chews pieces off and chokes on them. I thought that with this being mostly fabric and the book having Velcro that I would be able to allow him to play with it whenever. However, the book is so flimsy that it could probably easily be torn off of the fabric and get into my son's mouth. So until he's a little older and no longer trying to eat books, I'll definitely need to supervise him with this toy.

Very cute- finger puppets fit adult hand- book fits in palm of hand.

I love Amazon and everything I find here. I'm one of those people that Amazon is making a delivery to my home almost every day. I'm one of those Amazon nuts who orders so much that I have a delivery to my home almost every day. If it's not for me, it's another family member ordering. Here's my story about this book: I was in a department store and saw this book thrown on a shelf, alone and in the wrong area of the store. I see the price tag and got in line to purchase it. The book is adorable! But, the line wasn't moving. The sales people were talking amongst themselves about a product. I pick up my phone, go to my Amazon app and see the book on Amazon for a better price. Click on the purchase tab, put the book down and walked out of the store. The sales people were still talking amongst themselves as I walked out. The book arrived promptly and the kids love the puppets! You need to know the Old MacDonald poem, because the book only states what each animal does, but it is worth it!

Our package arrived today and we are really looking forward to it, however, we were a bit disappointed in the quality of this book. For example the stiching of the dog's nose is only on the right side of his face. The corners of the book stuck together so when we turned the pages we removed some of each page leaving white dots on the corners. I agree with another reviewer, you might be better off buying finger puppets and singing the song your self.

I bought this hand puppet to have some fun with my granddaughter. While she is only 3 months old, she looks at the finger puppets, which is brightly colored, while I sing Old MacDonald. I can see, even at this age, it keeps her attention. Her Nonna is having fun too, mooing, quacking, etc!
