Any detox symptoms from these?

Most customers tolerate our supplements without incident; however, approximately 5 to 10% of customers (usually with an autoimmune condition or methylation SNPs) may experience a detoxification reaction. A detoxification reaction is more likely to occur when starting with the full suggested serving size of 6 capsules per day. If you know that you are sensitive to supplements and/or you have an autoimmune condition, you may wish to start slow when adding this product to your current regimen. Tolerability can be greatly improved by starting with just 1 capsule a day and increasing by just 1 capsule every couple of days — this method may take a full two to three weeks to achieve the desired serving size of 6 capsules per day.

Question 2

Do you analyze your sources and products for glyphosate residue?  roundup seems legal in nz still and likely counteracts glycine in your products.

Accepted Answer

Our cattle ranchers do not use glyphosate; however, the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries regularly performs testing for glyphosate (and its metabolites) in cattle products as a precautionary practice due to spray drift. As one would expect, a percentage of seeds and cereals contain the stuff... to date, no cattle nor cattle products (includes raw milk and cream) have been found with detectable levels of glyphosate or its metabolite.

With that said, we are not currently testing for glyphosate but the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries does. For what it's worth to you, we also have a well-resourced customer in the Middle East that tests for glyphosate too... the results are the same (i.e. no detectable glyphosate).

Is the gelatin in these hardshell capsules of the same origin as all of your products... 100% grass raised NZ cattle?

Accepted Answer

At present, there are no capsule vendors in the world that are manufacturing 100% pasture-raised, grass fed and grass finished gelatin capsules or that certify their capsules as halal or kosher. We know because we've spent years working with capsule vendors to develop such a capsule that is forthcoming. This is a standard that we will incorporate across our entire product in the coming future.

For now, you should know that the constituents of our hardshell capsules are pure gelatin, bovine-derived glycerin and purified water — free of contaminants. We receive a 3rd party certificate of analysis from our capsule vendor with an additional certification statement.

What are results after taking just the tallow as supplement? reviewers are explaining benefits from taking multiple as supplements not just this one.

Accepted Answer

Most customers will notice subtle benefits when taking our Tallow, such as more energy, better mood, improved mental clarity, etc., within the first 2 - 3 weeks of taking our products. However, for more meaningful benefits, such as improvements in hormonal status, skin, bones or dental health, 1 - 3 months of continual use may be necessary.
