Do you need to use the usb dongle for this or can you connect through Bluetooth without a dongle? All my usb ports are in use - thanks!

Very late answer but just in case this is still something you'd like to know the website advertises that you can switch to Bluetooth mode for improved battery life, Which seems to imply that it can function as a Bluetooth device (though whether or not this will work without a dongle will depend on if your computer itself has Bluetooth support)

Question 2

Mine just decided to stop charging while plugged in or on the dock anyone know how to fix this?

I got this Razer Basilisk mouse/dock combo brand new and direct from Amazon for a bargain £64.99, but nearly returned it after ra couple of days after the battery died and would not charge on the included dock.

I heard some stories about the pins not being long enough and some users had other "fixes" but there may be a "proper" solution for those with the same issue.

Looking at the dock, it appears that the cable is hard wired......it's not!

It's actually a detachable Micro-USB cable.

So thinking "the pins were too short" as mentioned by other users, I unplugged the cable from the dock and plugged it directly into the Micro-USB port on the front of the mouse, which makes the mouse into a corded mouse if you like that sort of thing.

Anyhow, this got me thinking that maybe the cable hadn't been fully inserted into the dock, so tried that and et voila, it worked!"

So to all those who think they've got a faulty dock, give that a try!

What is the max dpi on this mouse and is it really good too use for games

the dpi can be adjusted easily using a button on the mouse - up to 16000 dpi I believe. I find it a little light weight for my preference. I'd prefer a heavier design.
