It's 790 joules and has a durable 6-foot cord.I like that it comes in two colors. I opted for the black cord as it fits more with the design of my house. I like the LED indicator so I know that everything is working well. The rectangular shape makes it a little much if I want to take it with me somewhere, but it goes great in my house and looks pleasant.The pricing here is fantastic, the quality is top-notch, and I've been pleased with surge protection. I've had zero issues at all and am really quite pleased. There's no doubt that I will buy more in the future as I need them. This offers the perfect combination of quality and affordability. Always need surge protestors and at less 4-5 foot long multiple connectors around the house. I finally replaced my 20 year old items with these new and most likely safer products from Amazon.
