Simple, sturdy and weirdly useful
Bought this originally for a shower curtain but itโs ended up doing a lot more than that. Iโve used a few in awkward windows where normal fittings are a pain and theyโve worked perfectly with standard curtains. Easy to fit and they hold up well. I also ended up putting a couple in my wardrobe to keep shirt sleeves and dresses from sticking out too far and getting trapped in the door. Sounds a bit odd but it actually works really well. They feel sturdy, havenโt slipped once, and for the price theyโre brilliant value. One of those things you end up finding random uses for because they just work.

Affordable and does the job!
I recently purchased the Amazon Basics Shower Curtain Tension Rod, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations. This tension rod is not only affordable, but it's also incredibly sturdy and versatile. One of the standout features of this tension rod is its durability. It's made from high-quality materials that can withstand the weight of a shower curtain and liner without bending or sagging. Plus, the tension mechanism is strong and secure, so you don't have to worry about it slipping or falling down. Another great thing about this tension rod is its versatility. It's adjustable from 54 to 90 inches, so it can fit a wide range of shower sizes. Additionally, it's easy to install - simply twist to extend the rod to the desired length, and then twist again to lock it in place. No tools or drilling required! I also appreciate the sleek and minimalist design of this tension rod. It's available in a variety of finishes, so you can choose the one that best matches your bathroom decor. Plus, the rubber end caps provide a secure grip and protect walls from scratches. Overall, I highly recommend the Amazon Basics Shower Curtain Tension Rod. It's affordable, sturdy, and versatile, making it a great addition to any bathroom.

Solid and Affordable Tension Rod
The Amazon Basics Adjustable Shower Curtain Tension Rod is a great budget-friendly option. Itโs easy to install, requiring no drilling, and the adjustable length makes it versatile for different spaces. The tension holds well, and it doesnโt slip once properly secured. The finish looks sleek, blending well with most bathroom styles. However, for heavier curtains, you may need to tighten it extra securely to prevent sagging. Overall, itโs a sturdy, no-fuss solution at a great price. Would recommend!

Very sturdy, very grippy - great for those not wating to drill holes
I purchased this pole for my kitchen window. We've just moved house and the kitchen is at the front of the building. I purchased some half net curtains to go with it. Originally I had purchased a different brand pole but it was awful so I returned it and found this one. I'm actually really impressed with this pole, it's very sturdy, nice to look at and it stays put! It really grips the wall well. I had put it in place and left it all day and night (without the net on as I was waiting for it to arrive) and when I came to take it down to thread the net on, I had to really compress the pole (the spring inside) to get the pole out the window. So it's very grippy ๐ When I came to put the half net curtain on, I panicked a little as the holes wouldnt go over the ends but I found that one ends of the pole, pulls out (the cone shaped ending that grips to the wall. But only one of the ends, so if you try one and it doesn't come off, try the other. It was easy to pull off and easy to push back on when I had thread the net onto the pole). My window is 195cm long, the pole I had purchased before went up to 198cm but sagged baldy at the point where the two poles are joined. I don't know if this pole would sag if extended to full capacity but I would say to go a size up for the pole to stop this happening just in case. I'm super pleased with this pole and if I'm ever on need of another I would definitely buy one of these again. I highly recommend. Ps it's perfect for army quarters, no drilling, no holes, so not filling / tidying up needed to be done when you march out! (Yay!)

Amazon Basics Shower Pole is Perfect
Just perfect for us as a short term measure after the glass shower door failed. I read most of the reviews and initially I was put off but as a last resort I had to order this Amazon Basics Shower pole as I couldnโt see much else available at a reasonable price. Iโm very happy with this product that comes very well packed within its own box and a detailed installation manual in many languages but really it is so easy just to twist out one end until both ends are secure. One end of pole fits snuggly on the shower cubicle tiles and likewise the other end is snug against the glass screen. So far it hasnโt moved an inch and has a double width polyester curtain hanging from it so Iโm content it will stay fixed in position. I havenโt tried to swing from it just yet but quite happy with the performance and the spec of the pole. Iโd recommend it no worries.

After two year still working well
The Amazon Basics Adjustable Shower Curtain Tension Rod is a practical and affordable solution for those seeking a no-drill installation. It's available in various adjustable lengths, making it suitable for different shower sizes.โ Pros: Easy Installation: No tools are required; simply twist to adjust and lock in place.โ Versatile Fit: Adjustable lengths accommodate a range of shower spaces.โ Aesthetic Options: Comes in multiple finishes to match bathroom decor.โ Cons: Weight Limitations: May not support heavier curtains or items hung from the rod.โ Surface Compatibility: Adhesion may vary depending on wall surface; smooth, non-porous surfaces yield the best results.โ Overall, this tension rod is a convenient choice for renters or those looking to avoid permanent fixtures. Just ensure it's compatible with your specific shower setup and curtain weight.

Good quality Starting measurement is not correct
Good and sturdy bar but unfortunately the measurements are not correct. Closed it is 128cm not 137cm which means division of the bars is not where I wanted it for 160cm width arc. Such a shame. Going to see if there are any alternatives if not I will have to make do.

Good Build and functional
Great that one can install just by twisting the rod and affixing across opposite walls. Relies on the fact that its not meant to carry a great deal of weight like perfect for shower curtains or regular light curtains. Great quality.
