7 Way Junction Box

Incredibly useful for organizing trailer wiring and ensuring each wire stays in the correct place. The build quality is excellent—sturdy and reliable—which gives me full confidence that these will hold up over time. What I really appreciate is how easy they make it to keep everything neat and traceable. Troubleshooting is a breeze thanks to the accessible contact points that allow quick and accurate testing. A must-have for anyone working with trailer wiring.

great product, simple but effective design rewired my enclosed trailer since they come with wire nuts terminating the connections not ideal for moving vehicles. The way this product is designed you have several options to enter/exit wiring when routing the wires. Very simple install would highly recommend.

Apparently, a child on a bike ran into the plastic electrical junction box on my trailer. I did not see it happen, so it is somewhat of a mystery to me. You can see the removed and broken junction box and terrible wiring job with twist-on connectors. I could not find a suitable exact replacement that fit the existing holes in the frame. However, the Nilight was mountable in the existing area using the one existing hole and screw from the old junction box. Notice that rewiring uses crimp-on circular connectors that fit onto aluminum posts in the Nilight box and that these connectors were crimped onto every wire, secured on the posts with a nut and wiped down with dielectric grease. One remaining issue was exactly how to mount the NEW bolts on either side of the Nilight box. I drilled 7/32" holes in the frame, then used self-tapping 1/4"-20 aluminum bolts from Grainger to secure the box. The trick is to use a low drill speed and medium-high torque on your drill. What I like most about the Nilight box is that it is essentially waterproof now to a level where it could be used in a marine environment, and the connections won't get wet. It is a more durable box and great value for the price.

I will have to silicone around the wiring because the plastic plugs aren't waterproof and mine didn't have rubber plugs. Nice product, looks great and keeps wiring connected. I used my own stainless steel bolts to install.

Makes it convenient for re-wiring lights! I ordered this for my old truck that has a stepside bed, so it uses external lights. Bought this so I could clean up my wiring, and make it easier to change out the lights if I ever needed to, or add lights or even add a trailer harness. The color coding was a bit odd to me. It thought it would be better to color code it for the plug side and not the trailer side, but it is what it is. I only needed to use 4 of the 7 posts in my application. Maybe someday they'll make a 4 and 5 post ones too. I might end up ordering one for my utility trailer too, so it's easier to change out the plug when it gets damaged as well. All and all, really happy with this, especially for the ease of wiring and flexibility for different applications.

I borrowed a friends trailer - and it had electrical issues. It seems that someone tried to drive off before unplugging it and it made a mess out of the wires. I purchased this junction box and a new pigtail and was able to get the trailer fixed properly. It sure made a nice/easy job out of a real mess. This is definitely better than crimp splices, or spade splices or any other type of wiring 'fix' that I could find at the auto parts store.

Installation was easy, but the box is not very weather proof. The connections still corroded inside of the box due to salt and water getting into the box.

Love these boxes. I have now bought 3 of them for trailers I have built. And I would buy another. So easy to wire up.
