If you use this on a ceramic piece, do you need to bake it to be waterproof?

Yes. Here are some tips for Glass, ceramic or porcelain curing and baking:
- Make sure that the surface is thoroughly cleaned, use rubbing alcohol. Don’t forget to remove all price stickers, otherwise it will burn when you bake;
- Once you are happy with your design let it air dry for 24 hours before baking. This will ensure proper adhesion of the design on the surface;
- After fully dry, place your project into a cold oven;
- Turn oven to 350˚F;
- Set a timer for 1 hour;
- Once the hour is up, turn off the oven;
- Open the oven;
- Let the project cool down completely inside the oven.

Hand-washing in warm water is the best option to wash the surface. We do not recommend using dishwasher or heavy-duty sponge. Remember, there is always a chance to scratch the paint, be extra careful with the project!

Are these microwavable? Like after they're on the mug

After the designs are properly cured, it should be fine. I have designed my mugs a year ago and sometimes I use microwave. The designs are still good.

DO they work well with Canvas/ fabric? Do they bleed?

They work great with canvas and don't bleed unless you push the nib and hold. They also can work on leather and fabric with a smooth texture. It is difficult to draw with markers on cotton though. We recommend hand wash cold for fabric, but can't guarantee they won't fade after a while.

Compared to a straight pin, how thick is the resulting line from these pens? Any spreading or pooling?

The thinkness of the line will flactuate from 0.5 to 0.8 mm. If you lightly touch the surface you get 0.5 mm, but normal drawing is 0.8 mm.
