What's the item dimensions?

The tool is intended to be operated while held in a single hand, the wire guided by the other hand. If your hands are particularly small or weak, the tool and work can be carefully manipulated to function with a two handed grip.

Can I use it on normal Insulated Electrical Connectors..?

Probably not a good idea! This tool assumes a stamped connector with a wire barrel that is welded and the rather thick insulation that will later be shrink fit to the wire. The crimper does not have any indent making projection, it basically crimps to a rectangle shape to avoid ruining the insulation. Unwelded wire barrels are likely to gap at the joint, and the crimp is unlikely to be sufficient.

How do you get them to release? I have something that will not crimp down anymore but it won’t release yet.

The tool has a star wheel that allows to adjust crimping height to ensure the right amount of crimping force depending on your crimping project. A designated quick release lever allows to open the crimper jaws in any position.
