Wonderful Flavor and Taste
You do not buy mackerel for a shy and retiring flavor. This mackerel product is not only quite tasteful but it has excellent thickness--not too thin and not to thick. The skin, thank goodness, is left on and it adds so much more additional flavor and texture. I cut it into bite-sized pieces and then thoroughly enjoy a delectable eating.

Loved this! Great quality fillets and packaging is simple and elegant! Reignited my love for this fish~♡ Sad it's not in stock I was ready to buy more lol but I'll wait! It was that good!

It was ok. I wanted the smoked trout but it was sold out, so I tried this. Not very different to my taste budds than Polar brand smoked mackerel in a can, which is cheaper and lasts longer.

Salt .. salt.. salt..
It has so much salt that if you threw it on a snowed covered sidewalk mid winter it probably would melt it. I have other venues to buy a great smoked Mackerel and wanted to give this a try. Bad idea. I don't know who can tolerate this amount of salt. There are better smoked mackerels out there they should either learn the better procedure or leave the poor fish to those who know how to smoke a fish without turning it into Lot's wife.
