I have not tried this yet. I love Yupik foods. They are the highest quality. They are fresh and very tasty.

I love adzuki beans, so I was glad to find these organic ones at a reasonable price from Yupik. They cook up nicely and have a fresh taste, no hard beans left behind, and none so far have been bitter. I used to follow macrobiotics and cooked adzuki beans all the time. I usually put a tiny piece of kombu seaweed in the pot as I boil them. It adds a little umami. They're delicious served over brown rice. Such a big bag will last a while. They can be presoaked or boiled wiyhout presoaking. You can lock in the most nutrition using a pressure cooker or instant pot.

Azuki beans are a bean that anybody that has gluten problems or IBS problems can more easily tolerate. Love to add these to my stews in my chili and they provide the same fiber and protein that you get from regular beans. If you have time to go to an Asian supermarket, you can get them at a better price.

How could I have lived so long without discovering these tasty gems? I love beans and actively seek out organic heirloom varieties. These are among the best that I have eaten. Full of flavor, lovely mouth-feel, easy to prepare. What's not to love?

I purchased these dried beans and started cooking a batch the day they arrived. I soaked them overnight, and cooked them about 25 minutes, they turned out soft but not mushy, retained their color and shape, taste about like a pinto bean, but my research indicates this is one of the most nutritious beans, so why purchase a lesser bean? The bag is sturdy and should keep the beans quite fresh. Fresh, easy to cook, good taste, excellent nutrition, good color and texture. The beans themselves are tiny, about 1/3 the size of a pinto bean. I will definitely purchase these again.

For me, nutritional content of product mixed with brown rice three to five times a week worked good to reduce fluid and inflammation. Cooking time: Product as indicated on my preprogrammed one-pot. Beans have a really nice texture and are in the same family as kidney beans. Healthy choice for me. Vale of product. Sprouting: Unsure.
