3-Year Review This rechargeable battery-powered backpack sprayer has been an outstanding investment. It features a durable, well-built design and comes with multiple spray nozzles, making it versatile for a wide range of applications. I primarily use it for applying pesticides and weed killer, ensuring I thoroughly clean it between uses. Compared to a manual pump sprayer—which previously took me 1–2 hours per job—this unit has significantly improved my efficiency. The battery-powered system eliminates the need for constant pumping, and does it on its own allowing for consistent pressure and a more powerful spray. One of its most valuable features is its extended reach, enabling me to spray up to 10–15 feet if not more when needed, such as reaching higher areas without wasting product. With this sprayer, I can now complete most jobs in under 30 minutes. After three years of use (approximately 10 times per year if not more), it remains in excellent condition and continues to perform reliably. OK i purchased one of these in May of 2025 and it has worked perfectly other than the pump cycles intermittently even when im not pulling the spray trigger. So I ordered another this year. This new one originally worked great right out of the box on the first day. I primed it and then put it away. However, the next day when I wanted to actually spray some weeds with it, the battery was dead (after charging it for 8 hrs straight initially), and the pump was no longer working properly. When i turned the switch on it just made a weird buzzing noise instead of the "pumping" noise it should have been making. Tried repriming with all the recommended procedures. No luck. Contacted Chloe and Christina over at Petra Tools customer service via their chat. Chloe immediately got back to me, identified the problem as a bad pump and then shipped me a new Sprayer no questions asked! I even asked her about the cycling pump problem that my older sprayer was having and she without hesitation told me they'd ship me a replacement spray for that one two! So two new sprayers coming my way! Highly recommend these sprayers. They are good quality, and work great and the customer service is fantastic with Chloe and Christina! Great product and excellent customer service. Keep it up!

I've used the sprayer for nine months now and loved it. A variety of spray nozzles with enough pressure to either spray a large dusting or shoot a long stream exactly what I need for the grass, weeds or even trees. This is definitely a quality product that beats a pump sprayer making spraying jobs much easier and quicker. I did have one problem with the battery however, I went to the Petra Tools site and told them about the problem. Spoke to Anne, she was very helpful and just some basic information about my order and will be sending me a replacement.

It’s comfortable to wear, easy to use, and has handled everything from lawn treatments to general property maintenance without issue. What really earned this five star review, though, was the customer support. Recently I needed help getting my sprayer operational again, and Anne provided outstanding service. She was patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and walked me through exactly what I needed to do to get everything working again. This is a great product. I used to use a four gal back pack hand pump sprayer. This one is so much better. Spraying is a snap now. I’ve used this for 6 years and it worked flawlessly. The pump started leaking this year, 2026, and Anne in support took care of getting me a replacement at no charge. Now that’s customer support. Great folks there. Definitely recommend their products and service. Top notch!

This sprayer works amazing and the different tips are very helpful. Worth the money and battery life is great for running a business. I had an issue with it working after sitting all winter and called customer service, I was put on the line with a very helpful woman by the name of Anne who had a replacement unit on the way before the call was over with no questions and send over instructions for replacement.

I have had this sprayer for 4 years now and this thing works absolutely wonderful. Never have issues until this year. Brought it out for spring and it wouldn’t pump. I texted the customer support and spoke to Anne and all I can say she was awesome! Immediate response, clear direction and she said she would send me a new battery within days. Well! It’s been weeks and still don’t have a battery. I followed up and they were checking on it. But it stopped there! I am now shopping for a new battery on my own. Great sprayer though. Customer service overpromises. So I needed to change the 5 star to a 4 star

This sprayer works great! We use it everyday for about 2-3 hours. Very heavy use!!! The battery after 8 months started to fail holding a charge. I contacted Petra Tools and chatted with Christina. She quickly determined I needed to replace it. They sent out new battery right away and I will have it within the week. Top notch customer service and great product.

Good size does the job

I have only used the sprayer a couple of times but I'm quite impressed by how solid it is, it's durable and will hopefully stand up to the rigours or regular use! It is a little uncomfortable though as it's quite square, so when you fill the tank it can dig in to your lower back, I'm not worried about this though as I have some rugged foam padding to stick along the bottom which should sort it! There's a good range of accessories and nozzles so I should have the kit for every different job I encounter. Still early days but I'm really impressed by the price and build, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing! 😁👍

I finally got around to using the backpack sprayer. The machine charged up well. The dial allows you to select the strength. This is being used to spray dormant oil on apple trees. The nozzle is adjustable. This is way better than the pump sprayers I had been using over the years and the sprayer completely covered the trees. It does use up the liquid but it aerosolizes the solution well. Make sure you wear an N95 mask and stay down wind of this machine. The pack does have some weight to it before you add the spray solution. Over all this is a good back sprayer that can be used for many different uses.
