NICGID Sling Bag – Compact, Durable, and Perfect for Daily Carry
This has been my go-to EDC bag for months. It’s not meant for laptops, but for everyday essentials like a charger, phone, wallet, keys, and meds — it’s perfect. The sling design is comfortable, and the zippers and stitching have held up well with daily use. Pros: Ideal size for EDC — not bulky Durable fabric and smooth zippers Comfortable crossbody wear Multiple compartments for organization Great build quality for the price Cons: Too small for laptops or tablets larger than 10" No structured padding — just soft fabric walls Verdict: This is my everyday sidekick. Perfect for light carry, built to last, and doesn’t scream “tech bag.” Great value if you want a compact EDC sling. The materials and design rival my timbuk2 which was 160$ I now grab this more than the bag that was 7x the price. Very premium feel, I was NOT expecting that.

Excellent bag, worth the price!
I don't understand what everyone is complaining about. I waited to make this review. I wanted to make sure it was an honest review, and not my initial reaction. We have had this bag for several months. It has been great! We got it to fit a Samsung tablet that is 11" with a fairly large thick case on it. It fits a little snug, but it fits. Storage is great; it can literally fit just about anything you can think of short of a full size laptop. Short notebook, 3 wallets, 6 phones, one super size tablet, 3 full size drinks, a bottle on the side pocket, ect. As this wasn't purchased for me I can't speak to the strap fitting me, but it fits who it was purchased for very well. Also she likes the color. Also I noticed others complaining about the quality of the zippers, they seem to be good quality, with no issues. The pulls are a little small, so take some string or ribbon and tie it to the one giving you issues, problem solved. Have fun with it, go wild with your flare, it will be your bag. All this in mind it is well worth the price, but just beware it is pretty big. Not full size bookbag or messenger bag big, but pretty big.

A good bag but charger port leaves some things to be desired
A very solid bag for the price! It has good storage capacity and is bigger than most sholder bags I have gotten in the past so usually storage isn’t an issue with it. With its zippers it is quite easy and concise to access all the pockets you would need to get to. As a sling bag it works very well even when carrying it from the carry handle it has to. My only issue with the charging port is it doesn’t charge that good compared to just having a battery bank hooked directly to your phone, it works but it’ll take longer to charge your device from what I’ve experienced even though it helps transfer electricity from your bank to your exterior cord.

Constant companion on customer-facing job sites
I’m a fire alarm technician and I’ve used this as my supplementary tool bag everyday for several months now. I originally got it to carry my cell checker and mini printer and to have a power bank when I need it, and I’ve since put other tools and bits inside it so I don’t need to go back to the truck for something. It fits well over the shoulder and you can wear it on your back or front and can easily switch positions. Can easily be put on or taken off. There’s a good space to attach a retractable key pull for keys and quick bit storage on the shoulder strap. Inside there’s the main compartment, a medium size zip pocket, Velcro pocket, and two smaller pockets annd small zip pocket to connect a charge cable to a power bank. Outside there’s a zip pocket on the flap as well as tactical slots to clip things. Under the flap there’s a pocket (perfect size for the Dewalt bit set/holder), two deep zip pockets, and pen/marker storage. Another zipped pocket on the shoulder sling. The side also has a vertical zip pocket with small mesh pocket inside. The bag is made well, fits well, reasonably durable, light, and looks nice without being too over the top- my senior tech says “that bag should be the standard here!” The only thing I don’t like is that the internal charge cable comes loose, but I don’t have to use that very often anyway. I use this bag to supplement my on-hand tool arsenal and storage and I keep my hand tools in clip-on belt pouches.

wow awesome bag
I bought this bag the small one which was perfect for my 13 inch laptop. I loved the stylish black nylon one the best, but decided to go with the black canvas one. It was a choice between good Looks, or quality as I read reviews about tears on some of them. The nylon bag is tough but the Canvas bag is much more tougher, and I still have the Ricardo Beverly Hills San Marino canvas bags I have had for for twenty years. I expect this bag to last me a lifetime. It has 12 pockets, and slots to fit a cell phone, pens, laptops, books, water bottle, or a small umbrella. Anyway nylon bags can only be repaired with a patch, canvas bags if they do tear which is rare it can be repaired by sewing. This is just my opinion from owning bags both nylon, and canvas. If your not putting a lot of stuff to make it heavy to tear go with the nylon bag, bug if you want it to be your last bag purchase go canvas.

Better than expected
Fits a 14“ slim laptop easily. I'm using it for a work bag - laptop, mouse, headset, a few notebooks, a personal 10“ tablet, and my lunch. It's got plenty of space and organization options and the USB port is a nice touch. My phone doesn't fit in the strap pocket but it's ridiculously large so I can't fault it for that. Easy to carry over a single shoulder when you're just going a short distance and don't want to wear it crossbody. Comfortable on either side, and doesn't shift around on a bike or motorcycle. The canvas is sturdy and the bag looks nice. The molle straps are useful and it's refreshing to find a bag with them that doesn't look like it escaped from a military surplus store. The only thing it doesn't have that I'd like is a buckle on the strap so it's easier to put on and take off without pulling it over your head, but that's really hard to find in a bag. It's stayed dry in light rain but I'm not sure it would in anything heavy. UPDATE: I've been using this bag as a work bag for a bit over a year now. There are a few pulled threads at the flap seam, probably from overloading it or my cat being a jerk, but the integrity of the seam is just fine. The bag still looks as good as it did when I got it, despite most of my commuting being on a motorcycle. Zippers are in great shape, internal pouches are undamaged, and my laptop has survived a few surprisingly hard landings in this bag with no damage. It's broken in nicely without feeling or looking worn. I carry a large water bottle in the side pocket daily and that's also still in great shape. No plans to replace this anytime soon. Edit: main zipper failed after a little over three years of use. The slider came off on one side and when I looked I realized some of the teeth aren't really attached to the bag anymore. It doesn't look fixable without a full zipper replacement which isn't practical with this design. I've never had a bag fail like this so there is definitely room for improvement on the zipper, but three years of heavy use isn't bad. I reattached the zipper slide extra tightly with pliers and it's held up for the last week. I will be repurchasing this bag as none of the others compare. Only change I would suggest to the design is adding the extra velcro between the loops like on the non-canvas version. Easy enough to do myself if I want later. Would also love to see this in more colors like an army green or a blue.

Much larger then you'd think
I got the 13.3" bag. When it arrived it looked huge for what it should be. The label on the bag says 13.3" and the description says the same. However, it is over 15" and looks more like a youth sized backpack then a small sling bag like it appears to be in the image. Pockets? Um, yeah. There is A LOT of them. It seems overly complicated. The compartments are nice for holding certain random sized objects. I like the idea of the little charging cable thing. Its basically a USB "extension cord" and you just plug in your battery pack inside. It does seem very well made and durable. I've no doubt one would struggle with wearing it out. I'm returning it because its just way to big.
