So much fun!
It's exactly what I expected. It sounds just like you'd expect a kazoo to sound and is a lovely color. The best part is that it has survived being tossed around by a 2 year old. I considered buying him a plastic kazoo but the price difference was minimal and this is much nicer.

The kids have taken over...
Honestly, they work really well. Too well. I don't know why I bought them for my kids. One each, gold and silver. The quality is amazing and they noticed. It's been one hour of them playing with the kazoo. The cats and I are currently hiding in our room as the tiny people have taken over the rest of the house with their marching and kazoo filled "music" playing. I have blinked twice about a thousand times, no one has come to my rescue. If you need a really good kazoo, look no further. They even give extra kazoo membranes to make sure it lasts a lifetime.

This one sounds great.
OK. I was in a record store months ago. And I bought a really lousy kazoo. It was pretty. But sounded terrible. So I bought this one. This one sounds great.

Decent kazoo.
Originally I had posted one star because we thought we got an empty container. Somehow my son dropped it as he was opening it and it fell into another box and we never saw it!

Excellent toy for kids
If you are an adult man who wants to annoy his adult sister without sharing a household, buy this for your nephew. My nephew loves it. My sister does not. That’s a win!

Performs very poorly. Very little "buzzy" sound. Mostly just humming comes out.
I don't get it. It is beautiful for sure, but it barely makes anything kazoo like in its sound. Mostly just humming sound comes out. The diaphragms barely vibrate. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Unremarkable
Kazoo arrived with a broken membrane install. Installed a spare and it works well. It seems these membranes are of questionable quality the kazoo is otherwise unremarkable.

Perfect item for the grandkids to take home ...
My kid told me not to buy a drum set for the little one. I was able to exact vengeance on them with this GREAT noise maker! I play mine and they play this one. 🤣
