Works in the woods
Worked great. Installed on an olded Cuddeback Cell camera. Had very touchy reception before, had to move around every year as the trees grew. Installed on a 10ft pvc pole and connected first time.

As advertised..easily average -10dB gain
We live in the most rural of places (Mountain top - 2030 ft above sea level). Have an ATT MF279 for all our Internet connectivity.. Always had four bars and about -89 dBm strength from local towers (1/2 to 3 miles away on ATT bands 2, 12, 66). The MF279 has done a good job for the last few years with no supplemental antenna assistance. I am an engineer so I have some tools available to me others may not know about or have access to. A few weeks ago with our ATT cell phones and MF279, we started connecting to towers we have a line of sight on, but (because we are on a Mtn) 30 miles away.. ATT recognized the issue ...said there was a local cell handoff problem they were addressing (why we aren't connecting local towers we have in the past..).. but after 3 weeks we bought this as a stop-gap due to the issue(s) they are still trying to fix. Very pleased with it, as although I am still hitting towers far away as we speak, speed tests and dBm are greatly improved. Before on a local tower, I'd get 5 to 7 MPs. Now I burst far above that (12 to 20) on both download (most important for a basic user versus a self-hosted eCommerce site which also needs decent upload.) Getting -93-90 dBm ..Can't wait to see what I get when they finally fix the issues =0 Should be -78 to -85 dBm range). Should have probably bought this earlier. It is mounted outdoors, but only window height (Did I mention we are top of a 2k Mtn? ). Bottom line ...well worth the price.

Read this to find out if this antenna works.
I read a few good reviews and several bad reviews about this LTE outside antenna. I decided to take the chance for two reasons. First, of course the price, second there is no need to worry about pointing this type of antenna as the pointed directional LTE antennas require. I found this works IF you mount the antenna on a pole that breaks the plane of your roof by several feet. It will not work at even plane with your roof. I tried it, and the results were bad. But when I got a 3 ft antenna eve mount, the antenna performed rather well elevated above the top of my metal roof. You cannot beat the price and easy mounting without the need of pointing the antenna to a cell tower. I used this with a 4G LTE router on an ATT network

Save your time and money
I installed this on a already installed pole 30 feet above the ground, roughly 10 feet higher than everything else. It did increase the signal by -2dBm but it made my upload speed drop below 1 MBps. It had zero impact on my download speed. I tested it swapping antenna connections and even forcing the modem to connect on different bands. Never more than -2dBm of change when it did that much. Swapped back to my stock 6 inch antennas and my upload speed was back up above 10 MBps. As an IT professional with 30 years experience my opinion is this thing is a rip off. Instead of trying to save a few dollars by buying this save yourself the trouble and save up and get a better and more reputable antenna. This wasted several hours of my day.

Looks to be quality...... schools out on whether it is a benefit
I bought this antenna to improve reception on my cellular router. Attached to a mast (no included) and extended 18-20 ft I found no noticeable difference in internet connectivity or speed or available band dB than with the paddle antennas mounted directly on the router. I have tried this at several locations and several different towers. Speedtest and dB reading were the same regardless of antenna type. At least for my application this antenna seems to be of no benefit. I will update this review after several more months of testing just to make sure its fair.

4g router for camping
We use this on our camper to get reception on our 4g/5g router. It’s made a MASSIVE difference in speed and reliability. Easy to hook up and great value

Well, it's definitely an antenna.
It's an antenna, probably the nicest thing I can say about it. It sends and receives signal. But it doesn't do a very good job. Out of the box it felt very light. The metal base bends easily, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your needs. The included cables are probably 12-15 feet long, didn't bother measuring. Installed on a wg826, stock dual antennas got 50-55% signal inside my home. I spent over an hour walking around every inch of my second story rooftop trying to find anywhere it would get above 40% signal with no luck. You could probably make a better antenna out of flesh and aluminum foil. If I could go back in time I'd definitely remind past me that if it's cheap it's probably not worth it.

Works well
I used this for a remote antenna for a laptop cell modem. This did the trick for poor reception even though I didn't get it outside.

Worked for me
Before permanently installing this antenna I fastened it to a long painters pole and ran the cable through a nearby window so I could test the signal. I saw a 7 dB improvement in the signal but it did depend which direction it was turned so I’m not 100% sure that it’s omnidirectional. Still, it consistently improved the upload and download transfer rates by a couple of Mbps so I’ll permanently mount it in the days to come. I’m a good 8 km from the tower and have several tall trees surrounding the house, I have a ZTE MF279t with Rogers.
