This is a highly subjective question with a lot of variables. If used somewhat conservatively it will easil cover 100 + Rivets.

Is it somewhat rubbery or pretty firm after it cures? Could anyone please describe it?

it is not rubbery, it hardens to a very firm coat; how hard is dependent on your mix. it is flexible and holds together; however, less hardener the more flex with coverage. i have used it to gack bows, and it works well.
