OBDeleven OBD2 Diagnostic Bluetooth car scan Tool, Code reader for Audi Seat Cupra Skoda Volkswagen BMW Mini

Bought this when I bought my 2010 Audi TT. The connection to the car was seamless and It has since helped me sort out a few niggles that were present with the climate control and passenger side mirror. There is quite a few sites dedicated to using the ObdEleven that give you more control over your car and since I've learnt about long coding I've also activated features on the car that we're previously either turned off or hidden. The app is clear and easy to use and the year subscription is more than enough to start with. If I could offer one piece of advice, don't bother with the credits and quick activation apps. You pay for each credit and your car may not have the feature you want but it won't tell you that until you've spent the credits. Instead there the time to learn the long coding (on all VAG cars, this may not work with BMW etc) as this is free and does the same thing. I've also tested the device on my partners 2013 BMW 3 series and again it works great but with limited functionality compared to a VAG car.

OBDeleven also features One Click Apps for easy modifications, whereas VCDS is more traditional and laptop-based. One click apps you do have to pay for though. I personally recommend long coding. The OBDeleven Pro Plan subscription (around €60 per year) strikes a good balance between price and functionality, particularly for individuals working on their own VAG vehicles. It provides a compact, easy-to-use solution with robust diagnostic depth, making it a solid choice for both hobbyists and some professional users who don’t require the full complexity of VCDS. In short, OBDeleven with the Pro Plan is an excellent, versatile tool for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Škoda owners wanting advanced diagnostic and coding capabilities in a portable, app-based format — with a favourable price compared to traditional systems like VCDS. I do like how its not limited to a certain number of vins too!

Waste of time, and I wouldn't recommend. Mine was faulty out the box, contacted them on their chat (Friday @ 1400 GMT) and a 2 day response time was estimated to actual support after chatting to their bot, although they did get in contact the next morning(after the job on the car was done). After installing the apps multiple times, creating an account and fault finding it was deemed the unit itself was faulty so sent back to amazon. OBDEleven offered 10% discount on my next purchase via their store as a good will gesture, although they currently have a 25% discount offer - luckily I didn't take the bait :) When I highlight the difference, they just said good will and discounts are not the same thing - so that cleared things up nicely. After wasting time on the device, and getting a "good" will gesture, my good will has run out for them. Price of hardware + subscriptions + credits means you will pay upfront, then find out not everything is available unless you send them more cash. All I wanted was to put my rear brakes in the service position, discovered all I needed to do was put 12v on the motor terminals to wind the calliper back. I will be buying an alternative, but not with pay walls and credits every time I want to use it. Google "Reddit OBDEleven Credits" and educate yourself before purchasing.

It’s easier to use than VCDS, works reliably, and offers powerful coding features. The subscription + credits model is frustrating, but the tool itself performs really well and makes diagnosing or customizing your car much simpler.

I had heard really good things about the OBDeleven, so decided to finally bite the bullet and get one ordered. I managed to enable quite a few 'hidden features' on my Audi A4 which was great. Things like beep on unlock, needle sweep etc. I could even use it to disable and enable the electric parking brake when changing my brake discs and pads, something which would have only been achievable by a more expensive diagnostic tool I also used this on a number of my friends cars, and I believe you can have an unlimited number of vehicles associated with it. As well as the coding features, it works really well as a fault code reader and helps diagnose any potential issues. I managed to find that my friends car had a mass air flow issue, which would have been quite expensive to have been diagnosed at a main dealer and obviously this is much more convenient than having to go to a mechanic to find the issue. OBDeleven also has a very extensive online forum which has alot of great suggestions and help articles if you face any issues, and alot of the Audi / VW forums also have alot of information and detail on things you can enable or activate on your vehicle. The Next Generation model also allows iOS devices as well as Android, which was a big issue in my opinion with the first model. One slight disappointment is that each modification requires credits, and you only get a certain number of credits for free, and then up to 5 free per day for watching ads. I don't personally agree that a device with this cost should then require credits to use... just an annoying gripe. Overall, incredibly happy with this and will recommend one to every single person who owns a newer, VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini or Bentley.

Just be aware that the version supplied is v2 which has been superceded by v3 which is more future proof and had low power mode so it can be left plugged in. The Android App and the hardware worked well on my 2016 Audi A3

Everyone who own a car that came out of VW group factory should have one. It saves you £80-150 (depends on garage) every time you need to diagnose an issue. Very useful tool with a straightforward app. Pays for itself after just one scan.

Works very well on my rs3 while theres not much for me to change its good when im doing a brake job it can unlock the rear electronic brake locks, change the key window raise behaviour, throttle sensitivity and do some customized coding, not sure about the subscription but this comes with pre-loaded credits in the app which is good. scanning the car for issues is free and does not take up any credits

Herramienta OBD imprescindible para VAG. La app funciona perfectamente vía Bluetooth. Puedes hacer diagnósticos completos, leer códigos de error y hacer codificaciones. Para Audi, VW, Seat y Skoda es perfecta. Fácil de usar. Los créditos para funciones avanzadas son accesibles. Mucho más barato que ir al taller. Totalmente recomendable para entusiastas del automovil.

First of all, the Amazon offer doesn’t state anywhere that after a year you’ll need to pay for a subscription. Or better just buy another pro dongle because the cost is the same. Also the advertised SFD unlock does not work for my trailer module. I tried contacting the support, but for I have to wait approximately 2 days for each response, and after a week the support person still doesn’t seem to understand the issue. I confirmed using ODIS (dealership tool) that the module is in fact locked, but he still claims that ODIS is wrong if there’s no unlock option in obdeleven app. Requests to escalate the issue are ignored as well. I bought this thing just for the SFD capability and will be returning it because it’s useless
