Easy to upload your chosen mp3 files and no need to convert the file format first. It has a volume potentiometer which is a great feature. I originally used this to create a custom Halloween prop and now it serves my 5 year old playing Ghostbusters from his proton pack. It will play 1 mp3 file providing the mp3 file does not exceed the memory. The files can be changed at your discretion quickly and easily. Highly recommend.

I was a bit sceptical as you are when buying from online when the item has mixed reviews however I am very glad to be one of the positives here. The module works, sounds great and will hopefully last long. I'm glad it came with instructions as they were needed and helped the process seem swift and easy. The only issue I had was the lack of information regarding the soldering required for the red and black wires. I only saw one other mention in the reviews and they had clearly had an unsafe interaction that supposedly cost them their laptop. I don't understand why the product arrives with the wires cut. There wasn't a mention of this in the product description or the extra work/help needed to connect them together safely and securely. I was lucky enough to find someone who helped me out but I feel like this should have been stressed at the beginning. Soldering is the safest method and other alternatives will not be as safe as that. Other than that, great item and I'm glad it works!

Surprisingly loud speaker , easy to upload music, however I was afraid about module itself so designed and 3d printed case for it next I will do speaker holder and button case. Definitely will buy again :)

Well... it works, but not like I expected it to work. Let me explain. I expected that everytime I pressed the button it would play a single file and stop and then when pressed again it plays the next track/file and then stops again and so on and so on until all the files are played and then starts again from the 1st file/track. I already have a different brand of module that does exactly that. But what this one does when the button is pressed is play all the files/tracks from start to finish in order before it stops. If you press the button while the tracks are playing anywhere through the running order it stops and when pressed again starts right back at the start of the 1st track. This is fine if it's how you expect it to work but it's not pointed out anywhere in the description. On the positive side it has 8meg of capacity and the sound quality is reasonable. Is it worth the £15.00 I paid... probably not, but there is very little choice on amazon for this type of item.

I don't know what else to say otherthan the fact that this is a great speaker that sounds amazing considering the price. The build quality is good with a very simple way to upload your own music or sound that you want. Included micro-b cable is fine (micro usb).

Used this to put sound onto my model kit and it worked really well. Highly recommend.

I’ve used these for three different craft projects to introduce music and sound to them. Need to be pc savvy to download your music/audio but it’s really easy to do. Two tips: sometimes comes pre loaded with some music so remember to delete that file to release a little more space for your audio also you may need to extend the wires to the speaker and switch which are pre soldered onto the circuit board, to suit your project. I have had to do this on every occasion. Memory not large but a great little piece of kit for craft projects.

This was a great kit for adding the Terminator theme to a display I made. Very simple to use: Twist the 2 red wires together, then seperately the black and cover with tape. Plug the adaptor in and connect to a laptop. Format the kit and drag over an MP3 track. Disconnect the adaptor and hit play. I'd tried another sellers kit, which did have the added option of playing multiple tracks, but I recieved 2 of those DOA and I didn't really need more than 1 track, so this was perfect for my needs. Recommended.

The speaker is great, even for high sound levels. I ended up using a different button and added an aux port for my project but it is very easy to use and for the price very good quality.

The truth is, the chip is very good and it looks of decent quality, yes. The explanation from the sellers themselves seems regrettable to me. IF IT DOES NOT PLAY THE AUDIO Thanks to a comment and information from the internet I was able to solve it but I thought I had been scammed. The solution is very easy, at least for me it hasn't worked with the USB type C cable, but you have to splice the red and black 5v cables either to a cut USB cable or to the battery box. And in case you want the audio to play, you automatically splice the button cables together and that's it. After all, good quality and useful
