This card is working great for my new Video Editing station
I bought this card as part of a computer I built for editing 4K video. because many video editing programs like DavVinci use the built-in video decode/encode features of the NVIDA GPUs. This 6GB of DDR6 ram is very fast and I can encode and decode my edits in real time easily, and makes renders very quick. This is the best priced card with the features I wanted from a quality manufacturer I could find at the time of my build (late Feb 2020). Build Details: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core 3.5 GHz AM4 Processor ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) Motherboad w/8 sata ports (2) Memory F4-3200C14D-32GFX G.SKILL Flare X Series (2 x 16GB) DDR4 (PC4 25600) for 64GB Asus DUAL-GTX1660S-O6G-EVO GeForce GTX 1660 Graphics Card Corsair CSSD-F2000GBMP600 Force MP600 M.2 2280 2TB PCI-Express Gen 4.0 x4 SSD Corsair HX750 750W power supply COMeap B07VF887KN CPU 8 Pin Male to CPU 4+4 Detachable Cable Scythe SCMG-5100 Mugen 5 Rev.B Air CPU Cooler (2) Thermaltake CL-F039-PL14BU-A 140mm Case Fans Thermaltake CL-F055-PL12BU-A Box of 3 120mm Case Fans Rosewill VIPER Z Mid-Tower Case Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU-Z benchmarks: multi thread: 10988 single thread: 557 CrystalDiskMark 7.0.0 x64 benchmarks: SEQ1M Q8T1: read:5009.03 write:4250.13 SEQ1M Q1T1: read:3184.02 write:4239.74 RND4K Q32T16 read:2901.25 write:2458.03 RND4K Q1T1 read:57.82 write:208.11 I reused the Rosewill VIPER Z case and Corsair HX750 power supply from a previous build. I replaced all of the case fans and needed to buy an extra cable for the second 4-pin CPU power connector, The Roswell case has seven 2.5"h disk drive slots. I choose the motherboard because it had 8 6GB SATA ports for the seven drives and one DVD drive.

Quite an impressive GPU for gaming!
I bought this a month ago, so now that I've had some time with it I'll give you my assessment. First of all, yes it's a BIG card. It still fit well in my microatx mini tower but considering that it covers almost a whole 3rd slot just take note if you have other add-in cards. Getting right down to performance, just about ANY and EVERY game in my library is rocking superb fps at 1440p and either ultra or mixed ultra/high settings. The new Star Wars The Fallen Order game played near flawless at 1440p on mixed ultra/high. Control played 60fps at 1440p ultra minus any ray tracing settings, with a few ray tracing options and at 720p internal resolution I was surprisingly able to get very playable performance. Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1440p at mostly ultra settings and without ray tracing settings I was getting 60 fps. Devil May Cry 5 was no sweat, 1440p 60 fps at ultra settings. Detroit Become Human at 1440p and mostly ultra settings also hit 60fps. So as you can see some really heavy hitters are not giving this gpu a hard time! This card is factory OCd to 1830 and I can still push +100 or so on the gpu and + 500 on the memory. Even in my smaller case this gpu wasn't overheating, it pushed 80c with the harder to run games that hit 90+ usage. Overall a phenomenal card for the price and this version is my favorite with its simple and subtle RGB LED accent. I'm very happy with it!

Not bad at all, don’t sleep on this 1080p beast.
So I thought this during Covid when I built my first pc when things were crazy on sale and everyone was getting ride of inventory. A friend recommended this card to me when it had went on sale. Here it is 3 years later and it’s still running like a champ. If your gaming in 1080p. This is it , you can have the settings high get great fps. It has been a champion first graphics card. Running two monitors as well. I wouldn’t sleep on this if you’re just getting started and you catch it on a sale. Definitely a solid card. Only reason I’m considering upgrading now is because I bought a 1440p ultrawide monitor, so I figured I’d leave this long term review for anyone still considering if this card is still viable. It definitely is awesome first card

Powerful but quiet card.
Haven't been into gaming for years and purchased this to play flight sims, specifically DCS world 2.5. The card is very large but fit into the full size ATX case. The latest drivers from ASUS wouldn't install onto windows 10 as the installer said it was the wrong version of windows. Checked two times and downloaded alternate version of the driver and still no go. Went to Nvidia then used the auto install feature and install went without an issue. Card is very quiet, fans shutoff when there is no load; a feature I really appreciate! Under load I cannot hear the fans running but the PC is setup in a garage and I usually have music playing in the background so its not really a definitive test on fan noise under load. This card plays DCS world in high detail without issue, no stuttering or lag; I'm very happy with the performance. The specs on the PC: I5-4670, 16gb ddr3 ram, 512gb ssd. and 22" 1080 monitor. There is an overclock program that is available from ASUS. Installed the overclock program but haven't overclocked, I use it to view temps and VDRAM usage during play. During DCS world game play, 5.2 GB of VRAM is used which I believe is the entire available VDRAM on the card.

5 months in going strong so far
upgraded from an XFX rx 480 red dragon. here are the specs Case:Deep Blue Tesseract Processor: Ryzen 5 2600 stock MotherBoard: MSI B450 a-pro SSD: Kingston SSDNOW V300 120Gb Hdd: WD Caviar Blue 1 tb 7200rpm Cpu Cooler : Wraith Spire Ram : G.Skills RipJaws V series 16GB ( 2 X 8gb 3200) Graphics: Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB DUAL EVO OC Power Supply: Corsair cx 550m yes yes i know i need to upgrade the storage Caps, ssd is king now ... chill. gpu review so far great. I stream but considering i wanna keep the stream at 1080p60fps not using the NVENC encoder and using the 2600 to truck on ... until i upgrade later on for an rtx card. also no rtx voice duh. buy an rtx card if you want that. issues: Nvidia highlights will crash Call of duty : Modern Warfare 2020 if you have it on, so turn it off to prevent that. Gets a lil toasty with the oc even with the fans. Nothing too big maybe direct a case fan at the gpu during the warmer parts of the year. other than that the run is stable the oc is hanging in there. tarkov eats this card for breakfast but thats tarkov. You can run fortnite and turn out 90s all day if that's your thing. good hunting and stay safe

Solid card with one MINOR flaw
Absolutely stellar sub- $250 card for someone like me who wanted 1080p 60 fps gaming at high-mid settings. Still running great after 4 months, zero issues. Fits just fine in my mid tower case. Its ONLY flaw is a bright rainbow RGB LED strip, which is supposed to be customizable but works with no software I could find. I had to pull out its connector on the front of the card (the dark wires, not the rainbow wires which are for the fans) to turn it off. Other than the LED issue, it's a solid card that won't do you wrong.

Great Value
Is this the fastest card on the market right now (April 2020)? No. Is it the cheapest card on the market? No. Is it the best value on the market right now? I think so. I recently built a budget rig to play some modern games on 1080p monitors. I do not stream, I do not run 1440, I do not do video editing or rendering, I am just a casual gamer. I wanted to build a setup for under 1k that would last me 2-3 years on playing most modern stuff on "high/ultra" and then another 3-5 years after that on medium/low. Most benchmarking sites put this card very close to other cards that cost around $100-150 more. For example this card competes very nicely with the RX 5700's which run about twice the cost of this card. I think its the great 'sweet spot' card right now for people spend an extra $200 to get 88 fps vs 80 fps with the same settings.

Great bang for your buck
I got this to upgrade my son's gaming rig (he was using integrate graphics before). He's getting 200 FPS in Destiny 2 at 1080p and he can run current modern titles at acceptable framerates on high settings. It runs quiet, isn't super power-hungry (he only has a 450w PSU and it's fine), and is great bang for the buck. For a budget gaming rig, you can't go wrong. Asus build quality seems very nice and they use good components still from what I've read. I hate how Amazon lumps multiple cards in as one (note reviews going back to 2017 for a card released in 2019). Anyway, if you're looking for a good upgrade, look no further. But be sure to read current benchmarks because things in the GPU world change very quickly.

Great for the price
It's a great card. Runs everything I like to play at silky smooth framerates at high to ultra settings. I don't play the most demanding of titles but things like Witcher 3 run maxed with few drops. RDR 2 was my main reason for getting this card and it's a definite improvement over my 1050 ti. After following the tips from Hardware Unboxed on YouTube the game runs very smoothly. I am a 1080p gamer and its dominated everything I've tried so far (Witcher 3, RDR 2, Fallout 4, FFXV, Skyrim SE) but I hear it does well at 1440p and decent 4k depending on settings and games. I'm definitely not a mad hardcore gamer but I do like the games I play to run butter smooth and still look nice and this card delivers that without compromise aside from RDR 2 which eats most cards unless you optimise the settings yourself (seriously check out the Hardware Unboxed videos to get that game to run smoothly) It's a chunky boy at 2.7 so you will need a little breathing room to install it and it may block off ports on your board. It has RGB but you can't change the colours (I think) so unless your rig is sporting a purply pink and blue scheme it's gonna clash, thankfully it's not so bright that it's an eyesore but it does have that annoying super bright power LED front and center. would have been better to have it on the underside of the board instead. I'm not an RGB fanatic so it really doesn't bother me much, but it is something to keep in mind if aesthetics are super important to your build. It does recommend at least 450 watt PSU and external cable. So if you're thinking of upgrading like I did from the 1050 which uses the 12v rail, make sure your system can handle It. It has three ports on it, DVI, HDMI and DP. It would have been better if Asus had dropped the DVI for another display port but it is what it is. Having three different ports does offer a nice variety of connections for users needing one or another. Fans are good, ramping them up you can hear them well but I haven't run into any whine or anything, would say it sounds close to the PS4 at full speed. But so far aside from artificially ramping them up to test it's been whisper quiet even after allowing Asus' software to overclock it. Overall a great card for a decent price. You're getting near 1660 ti performance (literally 1-5 fps average difference) for less. Visually it's appealing enough, especially with the slick backplate it comes with. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an awesome mid range card and 1080p performance with the option of upgrading in the future to some decent 1440p and 4k gaming. If you're upgrading from something like a 1050 ti like I did the difference is night and day and worth the upgrade.

installation ultra simple
