Very well built. Smooth operation. No clicks, crackles, or buzzes -- I see some reviews stating it somehow does that. Not a bit. I have a music/voiceover/movie post (Foley) studio, so it's convenient to leave mics in situ, and switch to required mics: have used with Focusrite and SSL interfaces connected to Neumann, Sennheiser, Warm Audio, and Audio Technica phantom condenser mics, active ribbons, and various Shure dynamics, with nothing but refined behavior. It's so good, I bought another!

I am a voice actor with two microphones and one preamp. This product is a absolute time/frustration saver. It puts both my mics right in from of me. No more reaching behind the equipment to blindly switch cables! And it's a breeze to set up!

This unit does what I need it to, which is accept phantom power and switch between two microphones. Like any passive XLR switcher, there is an audible click/pop when you switch. Go active if you need quick and silent. This is not a problem for my use case. I'm dinging one point because it is a little sensitive to bumps on the cables, but it's not a big issue. Satisfied with the product.

Inexpensive way to do a simple task. I use this to connect two microphones on a PC, and in voice chats, no one complains of popping or noise when I switch. Great little tool for a decent cost.

Great product - it is a perfect, niche solution for combining multiple XLR inputs if you only have one mic mixer in your streaming setup. I would not use merge mode (as XLR requires phantom power, therefore you are only powering both mics with +24v [not dangerous for your equipment, but not optimal]), but it is perfect as a toggle switch with an integrated mute toggle. It is much smaller than I originally thought, but it does everything it needs to do. Expect a little feedback when switching your mic input - this is normal.

My first one worked for a few months and then failed. It lived on a rack in a clean environment and the cables were never unplugged. I bought a second one -- we will see how that one does. Maybe it was just a fluke.

At our church, we have a translation transmitter with an XLR jack. We usually plug a microphone directly into it. Now, after adding this device, we can switch between two microphones and we have a convenient mute switch, too. In our application, we are not getting any popping when switching inputs or using the mute switch. Build quality seems good.

Con un solo canal de audio XLR puedes literlametne hace que tenga dos. Yo la uso en una interfaz de audio WaveXLR y puedo usar dos microfonos, tanto intercalada mente, como en conjunto. y aqui es el unico problema, cuando usas ambos ala vez, apesar de compartir la misma gancia, uno termina sonando mas que otro, como si la corriente se dividiera y uno se llevara mas parte por lo cual amenos que sepas maneja muy bien la microfonia y seas ingenioso, es una compra un poco dificil para tener ambos microfonos activados. En cambio si lo que buscas es poder cambiar de un microfono a otro sin tener que contectar y desconectar, AMIGO, ESTA ES TU COMPRA. (lo se porque ees es mi caso) Hice pruebas de comparacion de ruido de piso con y sin este aparato y en ningun caso mete ruido de piso extra mas que cuando estan ambos activados puede llegar a ser un poco mas pero por obvcias razones, ya que son 2 microfonos sumandose a la misma pista de audio. Quien entienda, entendera.

This much like my cheap AV pedal that I got on Amazon and any other cheap splitter that you buy on Amazon. It's not made of thick metal. It's not made. It doesn't feel like quality but why do you carry? It's just made to do one thing and it does do that one thing exactly how it says it does. I mean that's all I can say. If it didn't work you can always return it but mine works and it's not noisy. It just does the same thing. The AB pedal does where it's a passive so it splits the signal. It's going to be quieter. You're going to lose volume. You're going to gain noise floor. Typically anytime you run anything like this. If it doesn't plug into the wall then this doesn't plug into the wall so you get what you pay for. It's good enough if you run dual mics and you're trying to just run it into one mic line in that works

Works well. Is cheap. I'd not use it in a professional setting but at my PC to swap my input from my Microphone to my Bass Guitar its awesome. Cannot fault it at this price point.

They are great for my small busking setup.
