This product is America Test Kitchen recommended #1 product. I bought it, tried it, and I concur with the assessment and the recommendation. The good: The pitcher is oval shaped and can fit inside a refrigerator door compartment/bin. This saves space in the fridge not having to put this pitcher on the shelf--precious premium space saving. The lid turns to open and close the pitcher. You can shut it (tight seal) the pitcher and open it to pour, just like a coffee/juice carafe. The basket holding the fruit/infusing element(s) is large and deep. This allows sufficient amount of infusing element(s) to be put in all at once. A handle lifts the basket out without fuss. The pitcher can pour without removing the basket (anti-hassle). The tea steeping basket works the same. The freezable and reusable cooling stick works the same. Everything dishwasher safe. The bad: Not really.. could be $5 or $10 cheaper. As a total system, this kit is highly recommended (by me) and I am glad that America Test Kitchen concurred with what I am seeing independently. It is a good pitcher and the designs were correct/true to functional needs. Worth the money. You do pay about $5 or $10 more for this system than other systems out there. However, I'd go with the system that has been solidly tested and highly recommended by those who use a lot of it and often. Cheers!

Was sorta skeptical about this when I ordered it. I’m new to infusing water since I can’t stand drinking plain water but I need to increase my water intake to improve my health and weight. It arrived very quickly and I immediately washed it and placed fruit in the infusion filter with in minutes I could not only taste but could see the difference. I had tried placing fruit in a normal pitcher but it would take over night to actually taste the difference. Its narrow container design fits great in my fridge and takes up very little room. It’s easy to use and clean. Needless to say I’m overjoyed and so excited about how well this truly works.

Very happy with the pitcher. I like the Tritan and the accessories. You can make cold brew, iced tea, infuse with fruit, just great all-around pitcher with multiple options. I got a few as members of this family are #SummerBerveragesLushes when it comes to having cold non-alcoholic beverages in the fridge. The only reason for the 4 stars is the lip under the lid is a little hard to get to for cleaning. I use a thin flexible straw brush to get that area, but would have been nice to know before hand, but not a deal breaker - might be a consideration for a future upgrade on this model by the manufacturers.

I am so happy I made this investment. I can infuse my water overnight and keep track of my intake. I am also a connoisseur of tea and this allows me to brew loose teas at a great capacity. I love love love everything about this pitcher. I bought it to replace a different one that had a gap in the lid and was not as sturdy. This one has a screw on lid and can be used indoor/outdoors without worry of insects getting in. It is also sturdy! Of course handle with care. I highly recommend! Primula brand never fails!

I love this pitcher! There are so many choices that I stressed about it. But went with this one because the lid seals, and it makes me crazy when I can't shake a pitcher to mix things up. And in fact, it does seal well. Besides that, this pitcher is sturdy, looks good, fits easily anywhere in the fridge, and makes the most amazing water! First I made green tea with the tea insert. Then put half a lemon and half a cucumber in the infusion thing. The water is so delicious I can't stop drinking it. Every time I pour a glass, I refill it to the top with water. (I read that helps the fruit stay fresh.) It's been 3 days now and I haven't noticed any reduction in flavor. I really can't find any flaw in this. I'm buying one for everyone in my family.

This infuser works well and is nice to be able to also use it for making cold brew tea. We've made all sorts of fruit and vegetable water with it with no problems. Just note that if you decide to muddle fruit in it that some of the bits get into the water. I'm talking berries (ras/black/blue berries). If you open the lid about half a turn you won't get the pulp. So you can muddle to speed up the infusion and not get the mess. If you like the pulp just open the lid more. I have not seen any staining with it so far. Some have complained it is plastic and/or you can't remove the top. If you read the description the Material is Tritan Plastic. You can completely remove the top. Unscrew cap and/or unscrew the whole handle/lid. Both are threaded and will come off. That allows complete cleaning. Note: Pay careful attention to the pricing based on color. The black handle/lid cost twice what the red handle/lid was selling for. No difference in parts or size. I'm sure this is Primula and Amazon playing marketing games so if you're not fussy about color you can save money!

The concept for the pitcher is pretty cool, but I didn't buy it for all its cool attachments. I was looking for the biggest infuser possible to make filling my REAL 2 QT dispenser (bought from Target, so the size is probably accurate) easier than the 4 hour procedure doing it with one 32 oz infuser I used last time. While this one certainly is bigger than the 32 oz, it's definitely NOT 2.9 QTs. I fit three full pitchers into my 2QT dispenser, but could've probably fit 4 if I wasn't also using the 32 OZ infuser... so with that information, that makes this pitcher at least 1 PINT in size. Waaaaay different in size than this so-called "2.9 QTs". I didn't give it one star because it serves its purpose, even if it's not as big as it's listed as. It still helps tremendously with making and filling the big dispenser for iced tea. The process took me an hour and a half instead of four hours, so that's already an improvement. The pitcher itself is pretty good quality, but I noticed after I washed the tea-infuser attachment, the handle on that was broken; I didn't notice it beforehand, so I can't say if I did that while washing it, and it's not too much of an inconvenience, so whatever. JUST BEWARE that this listing's information isn't accurate; take it with a teaspoon of salt and assume that none of the info listed is true. It's probably not BPA-free either.
