The cedar dowel rods for this product are connected to the cedar curved side pieces using wood joinery. There are mortise holes on the curved side pieces that the dowel rods fit tightly into. Inside of the mortise holes, to ensure all the pieces stay firmly together there is a dab of white latex adhesive widely used in sauna products due to its environmental friendliness and ability to withstand high temperatures. Can this be used as a back support in a bathtub?

It’s wooden so I wouldn’t use in a tub, not to mention it would not stay in place in a tub.
