This product takes a little patience to assemble but once you've done one, it's very easy. These are great accessories for your track build but be careful they take on a life of their own and before you know it, you've built a world! Great product! 🙂

Cheap impossible to put together and the doors don’t slide easily, it falls apart and then you have to fight it back together

Tough to build at first. Figured out that you should lay the top on flat surface. Slide sides and middle piece in. (Upside down at this time) Do not put bottom on until after sliding garage doors in. Once I figured this out I had it built in less then 10 minutes .

My husband had a hard time with the start of putting it together but then got it at the end. My son loves playing with it.

This 1:32 pit garage is awesome! No clue why other reviewers thought it was difficult to build and use. It works fine, and took all of 5 minutes to build. A bit of WD40 in the louver door tracks and you’re set. Great addition to my Scalextric layout - I have 4 of them now and use them to “garage” my collection. Beautiful!

This was very difficult to assemble. I build models, brick sets, and kits with my kids all the time but this was a real test of my patience. The single-sheet assembly diagram is clear but it does not give instructions for how to loosen up the stiff plastic garage doors to help them fit into the tracks. Also, I had to glue the walls, signs, and roof in place to prevent the whole thing from popping apart repeatedly. After struggling an hour with the sliding garage door placement, I finally figured out that rolling and folding the garage doors between my palms helped flex the plastic enough to make them stay in place when setting them in the tracks. For the cost and hassle of assembly, it's worth maybe half of what I paid for this garage kit. I was ultimately successful and my kid loves it, but the doors do NOT slide easily open and shut. And anyone without the gift of superheroic patience will hate assembling this.

Fold the doors at a 90° angle prior to installing them. After they are together prior to roof install , tape it over the top. Pop on roof and remove what tape is left. There's some great vids online to show the trick to the doors. Made the assembly far easier after seeing so many people had a hard time with it in the reviews

Als Bahndekoration fast unverzichtbar, wir haben mittlerweile mehrere davon an der Strecke, eine allein wirkt doch etwas verloren und mickrig. WICHTIG: diese Garage passt nur für GO!!!, D143 und D132-Autos, die D124er sind viel zu groß dafür da die Garage im Maßstab 1:32 ist. Der Zusammenbau ist mit dem richtigen Know How auch kein wirkliches Problem: Ich habe zuerst das Dach mit der Unterseite nach oben auf den Tisch gelegt. Dann die 3 Seitenteile eingesteckt, anschließend die 4 Rolltore mehrmals stramm und ganz eng zusammengerollt so daß sie weicher und biegsamer werden. Dabei ist es sehr wichtig besonders die "Schlitze" in den Rolltoren zu biegen, also ganz klein und eng rollen, so als ob sie zusammenfalten wollte. Macht man das nicht, so sprengen die sehr steifen Tore wie eine Springfeder das Gebäude bevor man es ganz zusammengesteckt hat. Außerdem laufen die Rolltore dann auch nur sehr schwer. Nun die, jetzt fügsameren, Rolltore in die seitlichen Führungen einschieben, etwas dünnes Öl kann dabei nicht schaden. Dann an den Seitenwänden rechts und links die Hände auflegen und leicht zusammendrücken damit alle 3 Wände senkrecht stehen. Anschließend die schwarze Bodenplatte drauf, umdrehen und die beklebten Werbeschilder aufstecken, fertig! Geht wirklich sehr zügig und ganz ohne Klebstoff. Für die Werbeschilder sind die Carrera-üblichen diversen Aufkleber (Michelin, Mobil1 etc.) dabei. Aber Vorsicht: die Schilder werden mit ganz kurzen und dünnen Plastikstiften aufgesteckt, diese brechen sehr leicht ab. Zur Innendeko empfehle ich die Website "pedemann online", dort kann man sich gratis verschiedene schicke Innendekore für Wand und Boden zum selbstausdrucken herunterladen und damit das fade Innenleben aufpeppen. Da es (leider) nix schöneres gibt: Kaufempfehlung!
