Snell MTB-X Golf Balls

These are the only balls my dad will use. Good soft to medium ball. Nice to hit

I switched to the MTB-X from the Titleist AVX and Pro-V1x balls. I am a 9 handicap. Pros- exceptionally long distance. They are easily 5-10 yards farther than other balls. High spin for short to mid irons. Very durable and well priced. They spin enough that they offer the ability to hit a wide variety of shots but still give you the option of hitting lower spin shots. Cons - I think they spin a lot on all shots including your driver. I think the reward of a flush shot is worth it but they are not as forgiving on miss-hit drives and you’ll miss some fairways. They have a pronounced seem down the middle and I would imagine this causes some dispersion. They are not the best In the wind. These balls reward you for well hit shots. They are easy to work and feel fantastic off the face. They are not as forgiving as Titleist balls but they have allowed me to hit a wider range of shots without sacrificing distance or durability. The balls typically late 18-36 holes(if I don’t loose them!)

I was hesitant to write this review because I selfishly don't want more people discovering these amazing golf balls. I play 3x/week 6 months out of the year and shoot 80-85. I exclusively play Titleist Pro-V1 and Bridgestone Tour BX S golf balls. I decided to try these Snell balls this week and can genuinely tell you they're EVERY BIT as impressive, responsive, and dependable as the more premium brands I use. Exceptional distance, jealousy-inducing spin, and buttery smooth feel on the greens. I've found a new (and more affordable!) golf ball.

I have never played Snell so I bought these on a whim. I’ve noticed great distance and controllability around the green. Feels very similar to the highest price balls. The only downside is they are not as durable as pro-v or B330 rx
